Now you can select Tatung 256 from OSD.
Two micros in one core.
Great news !

Re: Tatung Einstein TC-01 Developer Update
Thanks, only read about the Tatung so far, I am looking forward trying the core out (there is a version of Elite on this computer if I recall correct). You're right. JetSetWilly, Manic Miner, Highway Encounter, Oh Mummy, Chuckie Egg are native Einstein TC-01 versions. And Now Elite works fine with keyboard. There are a lot o XBasic programs, even ...

The Tatung Einstein TC-01 core have been officially released by Pierre.
It's wonderful as I expected.
Thanks very much for the core.

Yes, from ssh I try to launch the emulators first, but emus don't work, I get a Segmentation Fault. The core loads but without emulation nothing to do.

Re: Lets actually try Hybrid Emulation
Thanks very much for you effort and investigations. I'm not able to launch the emulation... I got segmentation faults with both emus, any clue will be appreciated. However, with last year's tests they did work for me, both the hybrid core and the emulators. The kernel message totally throws me off. This is my uname output: Linux MiSTer 5.15.1-MiSTe...

Pierre has updated the Tatung Einstein core with many improvements, although at the moment it's WIP and it starts and reads discs. Closer and closer. Very good news.

Re: New MSX Core In The Works
Hey, I've posted the first publishable version. https://github.com/tdlabac/MSX1_MiSTer Don't hit me too hard. I'm not a professional and I do this as a hobby. I never owned MSX, but I know ported games thanks to my Sord M5 :-). There is also an rbf file available for download on github. BIOS is included. I ended up using a Philips VG-8020 as a tem...

Re: Tatung Einstein TC-01 Developer Update
Pierre started uploading code to git a few days ago and is already working on the floppy disk drive. Like the CoCo / Dragon, it will be a great core. Pierre does an incredible job. At this moment the core synthesizes and starts the machine, it is exciting and I really want to see it work when it is finished. It seems to me that of the holy grails, ...

Re: Lets actually try Hybrid Emulation
Using the git release you can get easily 225 Mips and the Rpi keeps cold.
When using the experimental highspeed you get 835 mips and seems to get some temperature, but nothing weird.

Re: Lets actually try Hybrid Emulation
This is a wonderful project, that runs like a charm on a Rpi with PiStorm, connected to a real A500 https://github.com/michalsc/Emu68 There are releases for PiStorm and Rpi standalone. https://github.com/michalsc/Emu68/releases/tag/nightly With that softcore, aims to be a baremetal emulator. I have been testing with mushashi and Qemu right here mon...

I do not usually give up easily, so I have changed the RAM expansion and everything has worked as you said on the first try.
The only downside is that the mouse doesn't work.
Does the same thing happen to you with the mouse?

Re: X68000 beta core preview - 10/14
If you turn off the MiSTer and wait for few seconds, then turn on again, at first attempt the core loads and works. But, HDF's are still showing error and non working messages. If you change the HDD , apply and reboot, most of cases you got a very nice black screen :-) This test version have a lot of problems, if you change the core and later you t...

Hi ! Yes, I do. x68000.rom is present at /media/fat/games/X68000 I even have renamed to boot.rom and same result. When launching, what I get is a black screen. The OSD works but when loading any HDF... nothing happens or simply the screen of fault disk. I deleted x68000.cfg in order to see if something changes, but same results. My MiSTer is Up to ...

Re: X68000 beta core preview - 10/14
I can't access the Discord link. Is the core available anywhere else perchance? I have trouble playing with Puu-san's X68000 core. The keyboard gets stuck when I'm typing in the command line of Human68K. The cursor still blinks but the keys stop responding. It kind of reminds me of what happened with the QL core before MarcelK fixed it. @cathrynma...

Re: New Camputers Lynx 48 & 96K Core for MiSTer
I just discovered this. For loading I tried "Oh Mummy". As a Linux used I ran "./lynx2wav -5 Oh\ Mummy\!\!\ \(1983\)\(Gem\ Software\)\(GB\).tap ohmummy.wav" Volume was 80% (I had success with that on the Otic core) and I use the normal Linux play command with headphones socket connected to audio-in. TAPE 5 first on all attempts...

Re: Incoming new core: Amstrad PCW
I didn't realize there were new scaling options. Do we need to download a new Mister.ini template to see all the options? Hi ! No, the core needs to be resynthesized using the latest MiSTer's framework: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Template_MiSTer Then the core can be found at: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Amstrad-PCW_MiSTer I'll try some wo...

Re: Incoming new core: Amstrad PCW
Hi folks !
The latest version of the Amstrad PCW core is 10 months old, I was wondering if there is an intention to resynthesize it with the new framework. I think the new scaling options as V-Integer, Narrower HV Int, Wider HV-int would improve the experience a lot since the core video is a bit corseted.
Thanks ! , cheers.

Re: SAM Coupé
I have the impression that the SamCoupé's core is not handling write protection lines. Floppy disks would have to be activated using ioreq and the address bus. I meant ports 223 to 231 for FloppyDisc #1 and from 240 to 247 for FloppyDisc #2. Using it as a normal SamCoupé (SamDOS) seems to work but when loading ProDOS (CP/M) fails thunderously. Sam ...
