I had problems with this one and I think it was due to having a 1 in front of the 1600. By putting the 1 in front I think it's loading the 1024x768@60 setting and ignoring the rest of the parameters.

.ini looks good. I have a similar monitor (2007FP) and I just bought a HDMI to DVI-D cable. Not exactly sure what the effect of going from digital (HDMI) to analog (VGA) back to digital (LCD) is but I imagine it's not as good as keeping it digital all the way through. If anything the lag (2-3 frames using the 240p test suite) might get worse having...

Higher or Lower Resolution on CRT Computer Monitor?

What are the advantages of using a CRT VGA computer monitor at, say, 1600x1200 versus 640x480? Is it only the higher resolution? If so, is there that much of a picture quality advantage to displaying the content at higher resolutions?

Does anyone know what this setting does and what the various options (SNES1, SNES2, SD2SNES, FF) mean? All I could figure out is that it might refers to working RAM.
