Re: The case for a MiSTer-native video player

I have a RPi and a Pi2scart but I have struggled trying to get kodi to play iso files, probably my own mistake somewhere. Obviously they can be converted etc. but I am not interested in the films themselves but rather looking at menu design, transitions special features and dvd games. Anyone know of a good way to browse an archive of DVD releases i...

I would archive my dvd collection and have a folder of iso files that I could load up to see the goofy menu designs and special features and other things. I think I'll probably have to learn fpga development myself if I wan...

I've been playing Popful Mail on the SegaCD. Is that a metroidvania? I think it kind of is.

I think they are prone to being faulty. Problems were discovered when Jotego released his CPS1.5 or CPS2 beta and around 20% of users had problems if I remember correctly.

Yes I also think I can hear a lot of minor sound issues with the neo geo core.

I think you can just delete the saved config for the core instead of having to plug it into hdmi.

Meanwhile, there has been new progress in the Saturn core today :)

Maybe everyone who supported the PSX core development on Patreon should move over and support Sergey.

Re: Made my Own VGA to Scart cable, audio buzzing!!

I might do that also eventually. I would guess that Audio over HDMI is the best the mister outputs. I have my MiSTer in an arcade cabinet and have been looking for a small soundbar with HDMI in to use instead of my crt tv's speakers.

This is a temporary menu for development.

Though i might sounds skeptic, but why aren't we seeing him load / boot the core from the dev's fpga?
I see absolutely no reason to be skeptical. This guy has been responsible for some of the MiSTer's best cores.
