Re: New Feature For Neo Geo Core
I think it's a question which parallels the whole console 'ROMhacks' and HB MAME scene. Are you downloading HB .mras? Do you mind doing so? Do you play them and enjoy doing so? Preservation is fine, as long as it doesn't end up in 'mummification'

Re: SNAC not working properly when using extension cord with PCE Controller
I designed a special board to allow the special controllers to work Is there any chance we could see this made and sold through the usual outlets? My CoreGrafx II PI-PD8 pad screams for its turbo sliders to be effective :) I've contacted Ricardo about the possibility of a limited production run, but he -understandably from a business point- dodged...

Hi sk8er000 and sorry for pissing on your thread , but could you also please take a look at this and possibly materialize it for us, the unwashed masses who can't solder?
It would be godsend if someone in Europe can make and distribute this!

Re: Show Us Your MiSTers
oOo i like the idea of the removeable hard drive on a cartridge.. Yeah, a 'NAND slot' of sorts would be great and that would shut some mouths. Edit: I should make clear, that only Sorg could make that a reality. Everything else that circulates, doesn't take notice of, or integrate the MiSTer framework we all are familiar with; cores won't function...

Tempest Sadly, we can never have true vector gfx games with current displays. OK, there are a few out there, but they're "simulated" still. Missile Command It's a shame we don't already have this  I don't like to poke on developers, but come on, that's a classic that shouldn't be missing! Marble Madness I hope you're boasting a MiS...

Re: USB Input issues will MiSTerCade help me
*not sure if trolling No, MiSTerCade won't help you. That lovely large scale connector is a JAMMA adapter, intended for the harness inside an original arcade cabinet (hence the name). I'd suggest you take the hit/refund your sloppy USB board, and buy a new one from reputable sellers , one of which is misteraddons.com (the same who produces the MiS...

Yeah, SD card has nothing to do with it. If it had, you wouldn't be able to boot the MiSTer in the first place.
There seems to be a recurrent issue with those MK.1650-50 MADE IN MALAYSIA three button MD pads; please refer to this thread.

Re: Genesis/Mega Drive (CD) SNAC : phantom button presses
Which make of controller are you using? Only original controllers will work with SNAC (and I mean original; the 8bitdo wireless stuff is not, contrary to what is said). Were you using an SMS two button pad/joystick with the SMS core? Mega Drive controllers won't cut it there, even if they have the same DB9 connector.

Excellent project with crisp quality photos! Those uploaded at the moment seem to only have been shot from an aperture grille flat CRT (computer monitor or Trinitron TV).
It would be very helpful if people with standard shadow mask consumer TVs of the 80s and early 90s, can produce such detailed results!

Hi, I used this line and it is now working. Sorry I must have not tried this one prior. Thanks. I'm glad to stand corrected in my assumptions! I was just sad, because clearly Gyruss doesn't want to part with his most precious boards, and I feel for him.
He wholeheartedly wants to share his belongings, and I frankly believe he has already gone above and beyond :/

Re: BlisSTer v2 Power Switch Length?
When the going gets tough by populating too many ports on your BlisSTer™ (as I am) in a way your fat thumb can't firmly press on the switch (as I can't), you have a choice of: growing your pinky fingernail (also serves to clear earwax eeww gross ), using a pen/toothpick, gluing some trinket on the button face with superglue. Or, you could look at t...

Ace, Pierco, Blackwine and the unknown soldier
I felt the urge to express my gratitude to those low-key developers, who have been constantly providing us with great (and significant) cores with little to no recognition.
Thank you so much guys from the bottom of my heart! Your work is truly appreciated!

I`ve got both Namco Classic collections 1 and 2 in my private collection, I did sent Jotego some great pcb`s in Spain like R-Type, Pacmania, Demons World, Hyper Olympics, Raiden 2 etc. but to sent these would be to much for me since these are very rare and also expensive.. but maybe someone else from this community is so kind to donate these... Re: Auto fire not working?
I was about to say that for autofire to work on MiSTer cores, it must also be supported by your controller in the first place ("turbo function").
↓ correction; zakk4223 is of course right. I'm just used to SNAC where controller 1:1 functionality indeed matters

It has the advantage of hash verifying your installed .mras, drawback being that you can't keep test cores intact.

Symbolic links have started to become a mess recently, with all the options and whatnot :/
PS: I had to reload once, because first time around it got stuck on the test screen.

Hey folks. Absolutely loving DoDonPachi, have there been any developments with ESP Ra De and Guwange?
