Re: MiSTer FPGA Community Survey. Please share how you use your MiSTer.
The maximum acceptable input lag, in my opinion, is exactly whatever it was on the original system and game and not a millisecond more... So I put 0, even though the real input lag will never be 0. But original systems were used with wired controllers and nowadays many people want use wireless controllers. In this case higher input lag must be acc...

Re: MiSTerFPGA.co.uk
Does someone know if there are some extra delays at the moment when sending goods from UK to European Union? It seems that my order left UK 11.03.2021 but after that nothing has happened on tracking.

Re: In-line power switch
It would be nice to hear what some hardware oriented developers in Mister community think about the subject. And of course there are some other FPGA guys (Krikzz & Kevtris etc...) who surely know how this goes but maybe they don't want to say anything related to Mister.

Re: In-line power switch
In other words, if there is prominent voltage drop it's possible that de10-nano might die sooner than without using the In-line power switch.

Re: In-line power switch
I'd like to know what exactly a switch with a little voltage drop is going to do to the system? I'm struggling to see how damage could be done by not having a high enough voltage. Instability in the cores / output, sure but damage? Someone please explain so that I know. Ta. To be honest, I don't know if it really is dangerous. This text is taken f...

I don't know what to believe because some people say that the system may still work even under-voltaged but it can be dangerous.

Yes, this a is good way to go, but unfortunately I don't have multimeter. Maybe Nat, who runs the mister.fpga.co.uk store, can say something about this.

Re: In-line power switch
I know this is an old topic but can someone confirm what Mister power switches are safe to use (I mean no voltage drop)? Is this one behind the link high quality? It says that "Minimal Voltage Drop" but has someone really measured it? At least the seller should be reliable, I think. https://misterfpga.co.uk/product/mister-inline-power-swi...

Re: Recommendations for reliable wireless joypad
Even if people say M30 2.4G is great, some people have reported pairing issues when using it. So it's not a perfect choice either.

I would like to have a time to play every day but I don't. I use my Mister a couple of times in a week. Usually playing NES, SNES and Genesis stuff.

Re: UltimateMiSTer.com
I cannot start any SNES or NES game and C-64 core. Either the screen stays black or displays some random pixels. These cores used to work in the beginning, meaning two weeks ago when I received the UltimateMisTer. I know that the C-64 core worked and starting a NES game. Starting Genesis and arcade games (or at least Arkanoid) still works by the w...

Re: 8bitdo USB adapter gets stuck and registers no input after hard reboot
Exactly the same issues here with 8BitDo M30 2.4G, TGFX16 2.4G, etc. At boot sometimes some controller either does not respond, or sometimes if I press for ex. DOWN, the DOWN will repeat infinitely in the MiSTer UI even if I disconnect the controller adapter. The connection between the controller and the 8BitDo bluetooth adapter is solid, so that'...

Re: Needing to replug 8bitdo m30 2.4 receiver for MiSTer to detect it each start
I have this same problem with 8BitDo NEC/TurboGrafX 2.4G controller. I'm pretty sure the problem occurred after I ran update script some time ago.
I have opened an issue for this on GitHub: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/issues/349
Maybe also you guys can add your findings under the issue, so that it would be fixed some day.

Re: UltimateMiSTer.com
After your tracker indicates that a shipment has left the country of origin, you should switch to your local service for monitoring. Ricardo dispatches orders with CTT which is the national post/carrier of Portugal, so that generally means shipments will be handled by the respective national carrier in the destination country (e.g. Deutsche Post i...

Let's hope so. The tracking shows that international dispatch happened on Wednesday, 20 January 2021. Maybe some stuff which is normally handled as an air freight is now transported by tucks because of new travel restrictions in different EU countries.

Re: 8bitdo USB adapter and 8bitdo SN30 combo needs resync after MiSTer is powered on
What is this "SNES retro receiver" of which you speak? I thought 8BitDo only made SN30 controllers that connect to original consoles and the Classic Mini editions, using different 2.4GHz receivers; or to a range of devices, via Bluetooth. https://www.8bitdo.com/retro-receiver-snes/ It's essentially the Bluetooth equivalent of the 2.4 GHz...

Re: 8bitdo USB adapter and 8bitdo SN30 combo needs resync after MiSTer is powered on
Some update... I lost my nerve with 8bitdo dongle and bought TP-LINK UB400. Same problem with it. Completely unusable because keyboard is needed all the time in order to run bluetooth pairing.

Re: 8bitdo USB adapter and 8bitdo SN30 combo needs resync after MiSTer is powered on
This is weird issue. Same USB dongle works well when connected to PC. I have also 8bitdo SNES retro receiver and it works well in Mister when paired with this same 8bitdo SN30 controller. So it seems that the problem is somehow this 8bitdo USB dongle & 8bitdo SN30 & Mister combo.

8bitdo USB adapter and 8bitdo SN30 combo needs resync after MiSTer is powered on
I have 8bitdo USB dongle and 8bitdo SN30 wireless controller. The problem is that I must resync those everytime when I power on Mister. Is there any way to get these working without doing sync when I power on Mister? Both have latest firmware and I have tried to change modes (X-input & D-input). I have also 2.4g Genesis controller and it always...
