I can't seem to get this working. I have the MegaPack 4.1, loaded that in the sd card, selected system grom, system rom, but no video, and a lot of static on audio. I have the antonio db9 mister, I am using hdmi out. I should expect to see the TI logo and press enter screen, right? Are you loading the ROMS from the same set (directory)? Try using ...

Upon trying the ZX Next's ZX81 core I'm finding that the keyboard characters don't print what you'd expect. For example SHIFT and 3 yields FAST instead of THEN.
As I cannot find any mention of a problem I'm wondering what I'm missing.
Can anyone shed some light?

I wonder, though, whether it would be possible to add a floppy drive B? One floppy is good but two would be most welcome especially for software requiring Sedoric/system disc

Have you placed the Amstrad.rom file, found in the Releases folder, into games/amstrad folder?

When trying Hercules mode all I see is a blinking cursor.
Do I have something set wrong?

I have had similar problems to @Venice and @jca with getting this Core to behave itself (although I don't use Update All as I have an aversion to "automatic" stuff) but am trying to work through them. The Developers have done a Stirling job! It does work but takes some messing about to get used to it. Maybe try to get the system to recogn...

An accurate Core with lots of features is so nice for users and fans of old hardware to experience and also interesting for those who would like to see how the old hardware performed. You've given us addons as well

Is something special required to get the HDD to work with Tandy? It doesn't seem to recognize the disk. Perhaps I'm missing a BIOS file? I had the same issue. You don't need the Python script at all. Just load an unmodified Tandy 1000 BIOS and load XTIDE at EC00 under BIOS. At least that's what I discovered. The readme is not as clear as it could ...

Figured it out eventually! Use Tandy 1000 rom unmodified, then load ide_xtl.rom via the OSD (BIOS/EC00 BIOS:) and reboot

Edit: You can use the modified Tandy ROM (xtide appended) but load ide_xtl.rom into EC00 still
