Re: Elan Enterprise Core Release Candidate by RW FPGA-Dev Team
I have been messing around with this core and like what I have experienced so far. This is one of the computers that I've wanted, for some time, to try out.
Thank you to the developers for bringing it to Mister.

Re: New MiSTer Help Function Not Working
Hi guys, I'm trying out the new Help menu to open md files but I get an error that says: /media/fat/linux/glow: No such file or directory. Do you know if there is a way to install glow to have this working? I've ran update and update_all scripts already but I have the same results, also I've some filters enabled for update_all but I'm not sure it ...

Re: Mac Plus update
A couple of additional observations:
I noted vhd sizes and mine didn't change after being corrupted.
Not only MacPack was affected. I tried a 7.01 OS vhd and it suffered the same fate

Re: Mac Plus update
A thorough investigation. Thanks for that.
Came across the SCSI Accel error after my last post.
I've tried dismounting the vhd before switching from or turning off while in SE mode and that seems to prevent any corruption.
Never been an Apple product user either

Re: Mac Plus update
After a bit of messing around I've found that on this updated core, in Plus mode, "MacPack for FPGA" boot.vhd, boots into a "..disk is unreadable by this Macintosh.." error message. By cancelling the boot continues. In SE mode the MacPack loads with the same "..disk is unreadable by this Macintosh.." error, which again...

Great to have this Core in Main. Thanks
Will tape file support (TAP, UEF...) be added at some point?

Re: Acorn Electron Core
Let me know how tape works on the acorn electron. I noticed paperboy doesn’t work. But it doesn’t work on mame either. Bad dump? I noticed one other didn’t work in either spot. Thanks for Core and updates. I owned an Electron for a short while in the '80s ADC seems to work okay (full volume for me). However I've not been able to load a UEF file. A...

Re: Tatung Einstein TC-01 Developer Update
Thanks @Pierco, been waiting a long time for an Einstein emulator as I could never figure out how to work the MAME offering.
Not sure if this will be helpful but the 256 Games Pack demo program doesn't seem to display correctly.
Edit: Think it's related to @Kathleen's observation

Re: ZX Spectrum Recreated Would Work as Bluetooth Keyboard With MiSTer?
The beauty of the Mister is that we can finally ditch that god-awful rubber keyboard, and use a modern keyboard.... I also have a few 48k spectrums here, and I try to use the keyboard less, and less. I now use a Comcon Joystick interface that allows keyboard-only games to be mapped to this device - just to avoid that keyboard. Tiny minds, so...

Results not much different in WinOSIdanielb wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 2:26 pm The Synmon in the C2P mode of the core is Syn600.
According to https://www.osiweb.org/software.html, "the C2/4 sections are identical to the SYNMON1 code".
I've never been able to get Synmon to work with the C1P, although I know it's possible.

Hi
Think I've mentioned this before but not sure if I found an example. The SYN600 was a ROM used for the C1,C2,C4,C8 Any use? Will it work do you think?

Nothing wrong with it. I systematically neglected to select "Load programs from: UART" despite constantly messing around with the settings

And UART is back!danielb wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 9:37 pm Hi,
I made a version which defaults to high res, and this seems to work better. OSI Invaders and Pacdude both start off in high res and switch to low, and Defender switches to low before it starts. The emulator also defaults to high res, so that is what the release version will do.
