Re: Amiga AGA Demos
No need to change settings, these are ‘late’ AGA demos by the black lotus and from memory they will run on a 68020 but needed a faster cpu to be at their best.

Re: Strange 68020 audio glitching on a handful of games
How do you output your audio from your Mister???
I use an external DAC and have no audio issues in the games you mention, either running from disc or from WHDLoad.
I find the Mister internal DAC isnt as good as it could be and the external makes a world of difference

Re: Love Demo -Virtual Dreams and Fairlight
Solved problem, had to play around with the scaling options in the core to get demo to work properly. Think I needed hv-integer+ and hv-integer set.
But works now

Love Demo -Virtual Dreams and Fairlight
This demo no longer works properly for me and I’m sure it used to work with a couple minor glitches.
Now screen goes pink, bit of graphical glitching and the music plays.
Can anyone check love on their mister and confirm??

Re: eXoFlynn Top 300 DOS Pack Updates and Support
Been looking through the pack and been enjoying the hard work you put in, so a big thumbs up from me!! Thanks for the hard work!! Have found a small issue with 'Prisoner of Ice', looks fun so i decided to play it. However it crashes back to the menu right after the captain gets taken by the tentacle things about 2 mins into game. Have tried Himem a...

Acorn Archimedes Reset in menu
From memory this machine had a reset button on the side, could we have a reset machine added to the menu??
Only way to reset currently is by rebooting Mr (Unless ive overlooked something obvious)

Re: Kinda sound issues with core
Hmmmm hadn’t thought about the tv being possibly the issue, it is quite old by modern standards so perhaps it is the problem.
DAC works fine so I’ll just use that!!

Kinda sound issues with core
I say kinda as its a problem and not a problem. Ive noticed that if using HDMI from mister to my TV the sound on the core is messy in places, Zelda Oracle of Seasons overworld music, plays badly, stops playing then starts again. Hard to explain but its not right. Now i put a DAC on the mister using the mini toslink adapter as i had one spare. The s...

MiSTer with OSSC Benefits?
So im using MIster with HDMI on my TV, now TV is a few years old and it takes a couple of 'screen resets' before TV settles on an output mister puts out with its HDMI
Now i have a OSSC for use with other things. Now i could move this across to my mister to go analogue output to ossc then hdmi to tv, but is there any massive benefit to do this??

You need to open the OSD (F12) after each save, even with auto save set to on then your games will be saved

Feature suggestion - MRA Readme
How about an option in the menu to display a 'readme' in the menu core for a given mra. Like 'A' buttono to launch or 'B' button to read the file. Would be a handy place for game information or a short description of the game, could include info like 1-2 players, 3 button etc depending upon game. Came up with idea as i found a couple arcade cores c...

Silpheed (USA) Problem
Since the last core updates Silpheed no longer works on the Mega CD, when you press start it just goes to a black screen.
Used to work just fine, other CD games boot fine, just seems Silpheed doesnt.

Re: Weird graphic glitches + flickering after booting cores?
CEC issue i think, you prob need a non CEC HDMI cable or get a non CEC adapter for the current hdmi cable. I had a few similar issues and adapter sorted them out.

Yes that’s the thread, thanks Harrumph, I couldn’t find that for looking lol, I was Googling something different lolHarrumph wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 10:53 am I think you are referring to this thread. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=303
The OP has a solution to the 5V problem using an HDMI repeater.
They also discuss the CEC problem later in the thread.

Non CEC HDMI lead / adapter
I read on the internet about this somewhere, sadly can’t find post to link to it. The post said (from memory) about using a non cec hdmi lead or adapter, I found one on Amazon for about £4 so I bought one. The post said that it does something like stops pin 13 returning a 5v to the mister which increases stability, improves sdram stability, plus ot...

Re: Amiga sound output
I’ve always found that amplification sounds better if you can put a ‘quieter’ source in.
So if the Amiga could output at 0.5 or 0.75 I think I could then amp and get a nice rich sound on my current equipment

Amiga sound output
The PCEngine core has a volume boost function, which Is pretty awesome.
Could we have similar on the minimig core if possible?? Maybe starting from 0.25 then up to 2x or 4x
I like to listen to my Amiga music through an amp and I’m wondering if it might be better if I can amp from a lower output to get the sound sounding better.
Just a thought

Idea - Jukebox core
Years ago, if i remember correctly someone created M1 a program that would play music from arcade romsets. You could download a frontend to have a nice interface etc. Just thinking a Jukebox core might be a cool idea if someone wants to have a go, listen to your favourite arcade tunes while you do other things. So much awesome music that needs to b...
