I apologize if this isn't entirely relevant but I would also pay attention to the possible inclusion of FPGAs in future AMD cpus since that may be a game changer and open up the possibility of more advanced arcade games and systems being replicated (including KI 1 and 2) and such. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-patent-shows-CPU-FPGA-integrat...
