Jotego as far as I know never went dual Ram. The Smash TV experimental core needed it. I personally have not seen the issue reported by Chris23235 on my dual ram setup

you have left the N64 downloader line in downloader.ini. This repo has now been removed so its reporting an error. Remove the line from downloader.ini and the issue will depart.

Re: Dual SDRAM with Mixed Versions
As Usual CRT bias is showing. They have a passionate hatred about Dual Ram which they clearly see as a threat to Analog output. As such any advice they give on this subject should be tempered with the knowledge of their bias

homerghost wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 5:25 pmWell this core has been released for the Analogue Pocket but according to Twitter it's a "Pocket exclusive"
Is there any possibility this can be ported over to the MiSTer? I don't want an Analogue Pocket and this is literally the final core I want for my collection!
if no source code release it would be as if it never existed

Non standard Hw behaving in a Non Standard way is my Guess. The current core is working fine on my system. It sound as if you have it set up correctly you may just be out of luck, the same way you would be out of luck with Saturn with that HW

All of the other Namco System 1 games will be coming down the line as well.
Note its a Jotego Premium Beta Core at the moment. So unless you are a patreon you have no way to actually use the core. The core will not allow you to configure the keys or send inputs.

Re: How Does the N64 Turbo Core Work?
Robert said this on the latest release
same as above, overclocked components: RSP/RDP 62.5->80mhz, CPU 93.75->120Mhz, DDR3 125 -> 160Mhz
VI and CPU Timer speed is adjusted to let most games run at the same speed as the normal core but with higher fps.
Don't report bugs with this version, only use for fun

Re: N64 Core
Not currently. You have to add a line to downloader.ini
Code: Select all
[n64_dev]
db_url = https://raw.githubusercontent.com/RobertPeip/Mister64/db/db.json.zip
NOTE this is downloader.ini not any other file. You will also need to obtain the bios files

Anybody else having trouble with these nightlies?
It was broken for a while The latest one was fine though
