I read on the MiSTer Facebook group that this controller is officially supported. I tried plugging mine in and trying arkanoid and nothing happened. What is the easiest way to get this controller working on a MiSTer?

Re: AmigaVision (MegaAGS) 2023.07.17 Released with Improved Launcher Reliability
I can't seem to find the updated download. I go to the AmigaVision website and click on download and accept the terms and then it looks like it's going to redirect to Archive.org and then I get a file not found error. What can I do?

Re: Congo Bongo Released
That message is telling you either that the congo.zip file isn't in the name folder or that the zip file that you have is incorrect. Mame has both merged and unmerged rom sets. You want the full (merged) rom of the game.

Re: Tank Battalion Namco Core
killersquirel - there are 15 videos out on this core, so plenty of viewing time. The 16th will be released in the next day or so, involving porting to the MiSTer framework. The hardware was unique to this game. It is incredibly simple, only tilemap graphics and 8 3x3 white square bullets. So, no there were no other games on this hardware. I'm thin...

I am looking forward to following the videos on how to do this. Out of curiosity, are there any other games that run on this hardware? Thanks for making this and the videos!

I just downloaded the 2021 Gamebase and the only Crypts of Terror game I see is in xex format. What are your settings when running the game? I just get a black screen on every copy that I have found.akeley wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 12:15 pmWorks ok with .atr from Gamebase.killersquirel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 3:02 am Has anyone been able to get Crypts of Terror to work on the core?

Re: Food Fight Controls
I am using a BT adapter and a Dual Sense controller (have also used Dual Shock 4 controllers as well) and the one thing I notice is that the first game or so usually the control is a little funky and then I will move the analog controller in a big circle several times and then usually the controls will be flawless after those first couple of games....

I have the same problem, but I think it's the mra file and not the core. There are alternates that work in the alternates folder. Hoping for an mra file that will address the issue.

I tried this out and it's a really good beta, but the second transform button isn't implemented yet. I am looking forward to this being completed as I love this game. Thanks so much for this!

Re: Preserving Arcade Core High Scores
How did we forget Centipede!? I remember trying to do that right at the beginning but it uses NVRAM and the original author hadn't implemented it, and I was clueless :D Given I have a working simulation of it now, and understand so much more than I did a year ago, it should be doable so I'll put it on the to-do list. I believe Food Fight also uses...

Re: Atari 7800 / 2600
@Kitrinx Your 7800 MiSTer core is absolutely fantastic! I am revisiting my MiST FPGA and see others are hoping for a port of this so I thought to relay this (if you haven't been bombarded with this request already). I'm glad you like it! It's made nearly entirely based off schematics so it should be very accurate. Nobody has contacted me about por...

Re: Weird disk saving issue
I think I figured out my issue. I have my games located on an external hard drive. When I moved the save file disk over to the SD card I haven't had an issue with saving. I am now in the process of transferring my C64 games over to the SD card in case any of the disks are savable ones. Is there a way that you can split games over an SD card and an ...

Re: Atari 7800 / 2600
I think it would be better if the developers just learned to code for era-appropriate hardware, or, if the 2600 is not powerful enough for them to fulfil their creative vision, simply target more powerful hardware like the 7800. I have a 2600 with a harmony cartridge and the games that it plays are really great. I would love to play them on an HDT...

Re: Atari 7800 / 2600
I don't get what would harmony support give anyone. The core has multiple mapper support, and can load most roms, so why would you need to replicate a flash cart? We have save key, most graphical options, Tapper works, and we have 7800 game support. Plus all the modern filters, and shadow mask support. This core was given a lot of love and attenti...
