FFVIII am now on disc 2, only issues ive had is game freezing during the battles sometimes and mostly resulting in error E2. used alot of savestates to get thru.

In most cases, the user is trying to load a new game when selecting a CD. I believe the reset is also skipped if you have a folder with a multi-disc game. To me, this setup makes the most sense and is very convenient. About the BIOS, did you try one of the alternative BIOS'es? There is one on the PSP's PS1 emulator that finishes the animation fast...

With the new sound release, Alundra started working. It used to go to a black screen when you entered a door, but now it all works :) Some games seem to not boot correctly and have stopped working, but it is very few I think. so i accidently saved while an arcade core was booting (galaga) and before it finished booting i had a feeling that i knew what was going to happen next and it did lol garbage in all the high scores. so i deleted the /media/fat/config/nvram/Galaga.nvm? and it seems to be ok now. is this the right way to reset this?
