The new update method via downloader.ini did not work the first time. After placing the N64 rbf in the unstable section the script downloaded the rbf in the _console section.

I got autodetect failure because I use an external hdd. The script only updates the fat drive. Hopefully the script can be adapted.

Tried, but unfortunately I can not see the crosshairs when calibrating. The gun and trigger work, but not the calibration after holding the trigger for 5 seconds. The crosshairs seem to be outside of the visible screen. Do you need to use a specific resolution?

Hi,

Is the Aimtrak lightgun suported by Mister? Using guncon 2 is very nice on crt, but playing on big lcd/led/oled or even bigger projector screens would be even more awesome.

Not totally sure but can this be the vsync option you are using in the ini settings for the Mister. There are 3, 0 Match Display 1 Match Core 3 Low latency I had my mister on Match core, so that basically if the core changed from say NTSC to PAL it would change the Vsync with it... as best i understand (i am no expert) This was totally fine for me...

I see no issue, a preference was made years ago based on who was working on Mame at the time, and those preferences carried over. The Default isn't always the original, its what people were nostalgic for or it was what they were exposed to. You want the Japanese DK to be the default, edit your MRA folders. Can we please make the original JP version standard? The US version is actually an Alternative version. Also in most European countries the stages were 1,2,3,4 from start. This was how it was meant to be.

I can only conclude this post is some kind of attempt to start drama, but I will address one thing: The way my core is written, if you back ported all the parts of it that improve upon the 2600, you would just end up with the 7800 core, with maria and the control register disabled. That game is using the F18A, so it's not supported (at the moment) by the core. The version with the F18A posted by Flandango is at an initial stage and not fully working. Thanks! You are right, it is 6x. To make the right choice for for instance the Genesis core. Should it be 1440p or 1080 5x? What is the best choice to make? Thanks for the help.
