Re: Prevent bios from loading upon starting the core
I agree with 2 points
The bios boot should definitely stay. Nostalgia, play cd music ( just for giggles if you wanted to ) and mem card management.
And
The core should not reboot on inserting a cd. This could be for a technical reason like lid switch but maybe a key toggle for this ??

Re: Are we only using 50% of the resources?
not knowing linux I'm guessing this is why some devs are attempting Hybrid emulation placing cpu emulation on the linux side. I'm just worried that it's design is to handoff to the fpga and linux to idle, using both might increase unexpected heat and load on the combined chip ??

Re: How to Setup the Unstable PlayStation Core on your MiSTer
I think the point right now is to use the BIOS that the dev suggests because not every bios is probably being tested at the moment. So there may be errors with others. Don't know whether the "right" one is grey or colorful but whichever it is, you should probably stick with that for the moment rather than aesthetic preference. I totally ...

Re: How to Setup the Unstable PlayStation Core on your MiSTer
why does everyone wrongly link or suggest schp1001 is the 1st bios. when in fact this is more like 3000 bios v 2.2 not the grey bios but the paint splat incorrectly labeled. ( was the Japanese Bios v 1.0 and 1.1 paint splat and usa / uk v2.0 grey ) ?? rom version for uk anyway is v2.0 Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. CEX-1000 KT-3 by S.O System ROM...

Re: MVG on Youtube Reviews the MiSTer
I was thinking the price increase would be due to supply issues/demand and MVG has 600k subs so if 1% decided to try buy one that's still a lot of demand.

OMG.. not even 24 hour later and the bios sound is fixed.
Bravo.......
I know its alpha but is there a way to remove the flickering top and bottom of screen on crash bandicoot 2 without enabling fastboot , just love the bios boot screens and sound.
