How to Get the Save Progress System to Work Properly?
Is there any reason the PSX core does not recognize the saves on the empty.mcd? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I have the empty.mcd in the folder "saves ->PSX->empty.mcd. In the PSX core, I go to the OSD and select "Mount Memory Card 1" and then "empty.mcd," and I get no results. I had managed to make a save a c...

mt32-pi HAT that doesn´t turn on!
Hi there! today I tried to use my MT32 Pi Hat and noticed that it would not turn on, the USB cable seems to be fine, the Raspberry too. I opened it and nothing seemed loose or broken. I have no idea how I can start to fix it? any clues around here? Thank you!

Re: SNES Core problems with some games
The Mega Man X2 error you cited is often related to it not passing the anti-piracy check. I have no problem loading any of those cores. My first fix would be to delete your Main ("/media/fat/MiSTer" for instance). And then delete the SNES_YYYYMMDD.rbf file from _Console directory. Now redownload both from github and put them back in ther...

SNES Core problems with some games
I have noticed some problems in the core of SNES recently, some games like Chrono Trigger, Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, and Earthbound do not boot (black screen), sometimes they do, but other times they do not, not regularly. I've already tried different versions of the ROMs and they don't work either. Other games like Mega Man X 2 throw me an error sc...

Re: Audio messed up on SNES & TGX cores.
Maybe you could post your solution to the problem, so others could find this thread and be helped by your research? Thanks in advance! bring things close to either PCE or PCE + 6DB boost This script brings the dB levels close to the PCE core. In my personal sound configuration, this makes the SNES and PCE cores sound so slow, so I raise the volume...

Audio messed up on SNES & TGX cores.
Hi there, I just recently run the normalizeaudio+6B.sh script on my MiSTer and noticed that the audio in the Super Nintendo core is pretty distorted and low, especially through the analog output. The Turbo Grafx core sounds pretty bad too. Do you have any idea about where I should be trying to resolve this? Could be something related to the script?...

Re: SNAC Controllers Adapters
Thank you! I had to consider if a would like to spend extra 24 pounds + 10 shipping for those ones in order to use my original NES controller, it´s kinda weird but here in México I could get the original NES full set for that amount of money, there´s a guy in the states who sell the SNAC adapters on eBay for $44 USD with two controller ports, but I...

SNAC Controllers Adapters
Hi there, it´s me again, Mr. RTFM, I just get these SNAC Apaders to play some NES games. https://misterfpga.co.uk/product/mister-snac-controller-adapters/ My answer is: I just need these too? https://misterfpga.co.uk/product/mister-snac-adapter-usb/ So I need to plug the first one into the second one, and plug my NES controller? (all into the USB S...

Re: MT32 - Pi nightmare configuration for noob.
This step-by-step post was really helpful, thank you for taking your time to get things easier for me. It seems that my main problem from the very beginning was the wrong decompression process with The Unarchiver for Mac, tried with another program (Keka) and finally get the proper files, by now I need to get a bigger capacity Micro SD to test the ...

Re: MT32 - Pi nightmare configuration for noob.
Are you Flynnsbit from the YouTube tutorials? I feel like I already know you cuz I spent a LOT of time watching your vids on YouTube to set up the AO486 Core, Unfortunately, I've failed. I get somewhere on the internet a VHD called "DOS8.0-nml32.vhd" on adding it to IDE O-O, that is the only way I could boot the core, I tried your method ...

Re: MT32 - Pi nightmare configuration for noob.
“It's almost always the USB cable. Make sure you get one of the known good ones listed on the mt32pi wiki.” Yes, I get the short USB from misterfpga.uk “have you got the ROMs in the correct folder on the sd card?” My ROMS are in “ROMs” folder, on the root of my Raspberry Pi 3 flashcard. “Really dumb question, but is the MT32-pi enabled in the core ...

MT32 - Pi nightmare configuration for noob.
I have been experiencing problems with mi MT32 Pi hat, never make it work since I have it. I get my assembled MT32 pi from misterfpga.uk and my preconfigured MiSTer from Mister AddOns, so, I trust the quality of the gear. Downloaded the mt32-pi 0.9.1 latest version from Github, follow all the instructions (the config file, mister: on, etc.), my USB...

MT32 pi with Amiga Core
Hi there, just get an MT32 Pi and I´m trying to test it with Amiga Core (was impossible for me to configure the AO486 core and try it on that, it´s beyond my understanding and patience), I follow the instructions step by step and seems that isn´t work, can´t see the levels on the screen and nothing seems to change with the music, any help or clue o...
