X68000 I must be missing something
Hey Everyone I am new to the x68000 core. I have it up.and running and have been able to get it to boot a HDF of Final Fight. I am.not using MT-32 just connecting using standard HDMI to a flatsceen. I am getting the music of the game coming through ok but am not getting any sound effects. Punches kicks etc. I know I must be doing something wrong bu...

Re: TI-994a How-To
@Flandango and @jedimatt42 Thanks to both of you for your efforts on the TI-99/4A core and the TIPI support :) I did some testing on both a standard I/O board and the Mister MultiSystem with both a Pi ZeroW and a Pi3B+ with the upgrade to 2.31 and adding in TIPI_SIG_DELAY=100 to the tipi.config file and changed the tipiports.c file back to //delayM...

Re: TI-994a How-To
@Flandango - I did a little bit more investigation with the MiSTer MultiSystem board and I have found that the PI and the MultiSystem boards ARE talking to one another as I have been able to get into Force Command and initiate a DIR command. However most of the time it locks up half way or some way into the directory listing. Sometimes just as the ...

Re: TI-994a How-To
@Flandango - Will give it a go and see what happens. I am pretty sure that the MultiSystem board is to blame as I don't have a problem with the other IO/Boards User Ports..... But I need to give it the benefit of the doubt... Thanks so much for all your help

Re: TI-994a How-To
@Flandango - Thanks for your response. It is the darndest thing. I can get the Raspberry Pi3B+, 4 and ZeroW (with the delay timing modifications) to work on the MiSTer Digital I/O board and the cheap Alliexpress I/O board but not the MultiSystem board. I have checked the IO6 jumper and the 3.3V/5V jumper on the board and both are set correctly. Is ...

Re: TI-994a How-To
@Flandango. OK quick update... I did the edit to the tipiports.c file and got the Pi ZeroW to respond to the F18A core on both my v1.2 MiSTer Digital I/O board and a cheap Alliexpress I/O board. So it would seem that all is good... well not quite.... :) When I tried it on my new MiSTer Multisystem board it either didn't work at all (CALL TIPI hangs...

Re: TI-994a How-To
I was wondering if anyone had managed to get TIPI support on the F18A core running on a Raspberry Pi ZeroW? I did get it running on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ but even with the same wiring and same setup I was not able to get it going on the zero. CALL TIPI just hangs forever.
If anyone got it working and can help it would be appreciated.

Re: TI-994a How-To
What's the best video mode anyone's found for 1080p display with scanlines? I'm currently using video_mode=10, which is OK-ish (but the scanlines aren't completely even)...the bigger annoyance is the aspect ratio is noticeably too wide. @rhester72 I agree that I am also seeing that the aspect ratio appears to be too wide and I am seeing some of th...
