I upgraded to a Mean Well 5V, 4A supply because I was having problems when using an external hdd.

I'm still using the power splitter I got from MisterAddons and it hasn't been an issue. Everything has been working great.

I have the MSI MAG274QRF-QD. I bought it mostly as a nice upgrade for my computer with the hope that it would also work well on the MiSTer, and it's been great so far. I'm fairly new to the whole Mister thing myself so I can't say for sure, but I think maybe you just didn't realized your games weren't saving.

When you have a core loaded, open the Mister menu and make sure Autosave is turned on. If you can't select the option, you might need to load a rom first.
