Windows 95 Wheel Mouse

Is it possible to use a mouse wheel in Windows 95 through the a0486 core. I found some advice which pointed me to some random mouse drivers, the best one of which appeared to be https://it.driverscollection.com/?aid=4107506016957ad05bbd7e3cb71 - this is a generic wheel mouse driver. It appears to detect (or maybe it's coded to assume) the mouse whe...

Re: 8BitDo Pro 2 sticks and vibration don't work

I have a wired 8bitdo pro 2, and I discovered today that the vibration only works if the core is set to DualShock, so maybe try that?

Re: Light gun support help needed

I have one which works with a regular Kempston interface (supposedly). I tried it with the Next, and after some conversation had to change one of the pins. It still didn't (and continues to not) work. I don't have a real Kempston adapter to try it with. Discussion is here: https://www.specnext.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11733#p11733 I'm not sure if ...

Re: HD Support for WB 2.04 and 1.3.3?

Hi! I have been followed the instructions in https://www.fpgaarcade.com/kb/how-to-boot-from-a-hdf-on-the-amiga-500-under-kickstart-1-3-on-the-replay/ and I created an 1.3 Kickstart with IDE boot support (I can boot IDE disks with it). However, as it happened to @McBrain, I am also getting the error in "Hard Disk Prep" that says: Error -1...

TI-99: Pinball 99

Here you can find an early version of the game Pinball 99: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/336079-pinball-99/ I tried this on my MiSTer and the ball goes through the solid areas and generally does not behave as it should! As I know next to nothing about the TI99, it's possible that there are some specific settings required which I have missed. If...

Re: No Video Output C16 & C64 Cores

Solved - I re-downloaded and copied the affected cores back over, and they now work. Thanks for the help, I'll try that first next time!

Re: No Video Output C16 & C64 Cores

Yes, I tried that (well, renamed them so they wouldn't be found), getting suspicious that it was only cores I'd used which were broken.

Re: No Video Output C16 & C64 Cores

OK, I've checked those and I'm confident it's not the HDMI cable, or a video signal issue. I think the MiSTer is freezing up/crashing. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Alt doesn't do anything when it's in this state. I can consistently reproduce it with the C64, C16 and Archie cores. The ao486 core isn't starting up either, but that does give me blank video and stil...

No Video Output C16 & C64 Cores

I'm not sure when this started, but when I launch the C16 and C64 cores (and, I've just discovered, Archie - so it doesn't seem to be a PAL vs monitor modes problem) my monitor just goes no "no input signal" and the MiSTer doesn't respond to anything. I'm using HDMI. It was working previously, I'm not sure when it broke. I've just gone th...

Re: Amiga CD32

The thing that's appealing about the prospects of a CD32 is threefold: 1) It is the definitive version of the Amiga games (since it has CD audio support) 2) It's backwards compatible with the CDTV (Wikipedia states that it isn't compatible with earlier CDTV games, but I don't know the accuracy of that claim). If it is 100% backwards compatible, it...

Re: AmigaOS 3.2 not working correctly

I found the solution: After installing AmigaOS 3.2 with a specific Kickstart you must not change the Kickstart - otherwise it damages the WB 3.2 installation. No idea why but if you set up AmigaOS 3.2 with Kickstart 3.2 - stick with this combination! 3.2 has soft ROM modules on disk. It will only install these if you install it with an earlier ROM...

Re: Lets actually try Hybrid Emulation

I wonder if this could be used to provide a PPC CPU as an accelerator board - make it possible to run WarpOS/PowerUp software or even OS4 Classic. Not sure if the ARM is fast enough to emulate PPC though?

Re: Acetronic MPU 1000 + Compatibles

For the tank, you can swap X/Y orientation of the joystick. That works, thanks. Odd that game would have the controls messed up. Original joysticks were analog (a RC timer), but quite different from modern joysticks with centering. I've tried to have an option between absolute and integrated positions. Not quite right. Olympics is quite a good one...

Re: Acetronic MPU 1000 + Compatibles

I missed the release of this until it was updated today! Works quite nicely although I have some minor issues: * "Start" and "Select" appear to be reversed, even after I mapped them directly on the core. * Although it elected to use the analogue stick, the movement on screen appears to be digital. I don't know quite how analogue...

Re: Obsession Keyboard Delay

Hmm, interesting. There is a noticeable delay here comparing Obsession running on the ST core with Obsession running on the Amiga core (and other Amiga pinball games) - the ball can roll almost from the top to the bottom of a flipper in the time it takes to respond. I just tried tweaking some settings, using TOS2.06 instead of EmuTOS but it doesn't...

Obsession Keyboard Delay

I thought I'd post here to see if anybody can shed some light. I tried the ST pinball game "Obsession", and there is a significant delay between pressing a key and the flippers reacting. I'm hoping this wasn't present in the original game - the Amiga version running under the Minimig core has no such problem. I haven't tried much else on ...
