Scanlines while scrolling
I wonder why scanlines keep disappearing while scrolling. Shouldn’t scanlines be static? I can’t believe that it’s my monitor because with MAME I don’t have this weired behavior That’s why I would prefer something like the MAME bgfx crt-geom or at least something similar with which every pixel could be converted into a specific shape (like round do...

Open Disk Images Directly?
Would it be possible to implement the option from Ultimate64 to open/show content .d64 (or any kind of diskimages) and start programs from it directly from the file requester? This would really be great. At the moment direct starting only works with .prg, diskimages must be mounted and then the program must be loaded separately. This is just a grea...

Re: BGFX effects filter from MAME?
The closest thing to the ultra realistic MAME bgfx crt-geom-deluxe on MiSTer is the mask Simple(Monochrome)/RetroTink/AG-Coarse.
But the dots in the masks do not represent a dot in the game. Unfortunately.

My wireless Xbox360 controller often loses sync after a reset. Only unplugging and plugging again solves this.

BGFX effects filter from MAME?
I wonder if the BGFX effects filter from MAME would be possible on MiSTer? With the shadow masks the realism is higher than before on MiSTer but it can’t compete with BGFX. Especially with the crt-geom-deluxe filter the video screen looks like a real CRT, maily because each pixel is converted, not only a shadow mask as overlay. It looks so real tha...

Thank you for everything!

If symlinks are the simpliest method, maybe creating them within the OSD to a user specified folder would do the trick?

For fluid gameplay I patched the Gradius III ROM. https://github-com.translate.goog/VitorVilela7/SA1-Root/blob/master/README.md?_x_tr_sl=en&_x_tr_tl=de&_x_tr_hl=de&_x_tr_pto=sc Without the patch cheats are available but as soon as patched the cheat menu is not available anymore. Re: Manage Favorites via OSD
As I do not remember every of my favorite games on every system, it doesn’t matter if it takes some space to create links. It would only be good to have a OSD function to add them to a special list or to be able to mark files in any way as favorites. I would prefer a separate favorites list.

Manage Favorites via OSD
A request for the MiSTer GUI: an option to manage favorites (like in MAME frontends). At the moment I can only create a new folder and copy all my favorites into it - but there should be a way to do this within the OSD.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog on C64
This is really a great conversion! Never thought such a quality could be realized on a c64.
On the other hand I never liked Sonic, it was just too fast for me, I’m almost getting sick in playing the original game with this ultrafast scrolling. And that’s why I think the C64 version is almost better - the scrolling is much slower…

Great!
Would it be possible to additionally support the .dim format?
I noticed that other core also support a variaty of formats, this would simplify things.
