That looks like a great one for CHD files. I don't see any BIOS files there though. I tried searching but nothing relevant came up. Where do you find those?

Re: Saturn Core Not Working
Got it. In that case is Saturn compatible with the gamesmenu script? I don't think gamesmenu would know how to match rom and bios.
BTW is there a favorite source for Saturn stuff on Archive? I'm having trouble finding something that doesn't nearly always end in a failed download.

Re: Neo Geo Not Working With Favorites/Gameslist Scripts
My Neo Geo roms aren't zipped but each game is a folder with several files in each folder like you described. Is gamesmenu incompatible with that layout? I should find individual .neo files instead?

Re: Neo Geo Not Working With Favorites/Gameslist Scripts
I've definitely run those scripts several times as I've tried to get this working. I remember there is a Generate Menu option in the gamesmenu dialog and I've also run that several times. Does Neo Geo work for you with gamesmenu?

Saturn Core Not Working
I'm trying to play Saturn games for the first time. I dropped a few CHD files on the Saturn folder but trying to load them I get an error something like CD BIOS missing.

Neo Geo Not Working With Favorites/Gameslist Scripts
The Favorites and Gameslist scripts work great here except with Neo Geo. They don't seem to pick up those games and instead act like the folder is empty. Any way to fix that?

Re: Copy One Micro SD Card to Another?
This worked great but took 8 hours for 512GB:
Code: Select all
dd if=/dev/rdisk4 of=/dev/rdisk5 status=progress bs=16M

Copy One Micro SD Card to Another?
Would it work to use dd to copy one card to a second card for a second MiSTer? If so does anyone know the right dd command for that?

You're right. If I go to the Core menu I can get back to Favorites by going up a few levels.

Instructions for installation or instructions for use?
Do you think the old case can be retrofitted? Mine is happy to swallow microSD cards.

Best way to Favorites from within a game?
What is the best way to get back to the Favorites menu from within a game? I've been selecting Reboot from the menu but there must be a better way.

Re: Persistent 8.8.8.8 DNS
Several solutions there including the above which I'll assume would be overwritten at the next update. I'll see if I can get the router to assign static DNS.

Persistent 8.8.8.8 DNS
Is using the following in dhcpcd.conf the best way to set a static DNS address:
domain_name_servers=8.8.8.8
Will it be overwritten the next time I update?

Re: MiSTer on PC CRT and BVM
HDMI to DAC to PC CRT, and VGA to RGB to BVM will work optimally with the same MiSTer config?
I'm reading that I should set forced_scandoubler=1 in order to use the PC CRT (from HDMI output in this case) but will that setting interfere with VGA output to the BVM?
