Re: CIFS Saves Not Loading

I have managed to fix this and it was an issue with my cifs_mount.ini file. I had the mount point set to cifs instead of an asterisk. Thanks all.

Re: MiSTer Downloader Tool

I'm having an issue with update.sh and was hoping someone could help me. When I run update.sh or update_all.sh I receive the same error IF I have mounted my cifs shares. I can run either update script when I unmount cifs. I have not run into this on my other MiSTer and can't seem to figure out how to fix this. Log below ############################...

Re: CIFS Saves Not Loading

I have now started from scratch again with the same results. Recreated the share on my NAS. Reset permissions. MiSTer reads the games themselves from the NAS but will not read saves. I have deleted the local saves folder over and over again, deleted just the contents, and my new MiSTer will still not read saves from the network like my old one did....

CIFS Saves Not Loading

I'm at my wits end here. I am setting up my second MiSTer. I have a NAS that I've always loaded games and saves from. I cannot for the life of me get my new MiSTer to load saves. It loads games from my NAS just fine. I have deleted the saves folder and have the same saves folder with all of my saves on my NAS. If I open the "cifs" folder,...

Re: D3Fmod Ironclad Plus Damaged

Still no reply on this. It's going on three weeks on Sunday. I've sent three emails and two messages on Twitter. When I was deciding to buy this I sent a few emails with questions and they were promptly answered. Now that I've taken delivery of a damaged product I'm getting no response. I'm a little concerned. I'm not sure what my options are at th...

It was packaged really well actually. Everything was wrapped in bubble wrap and neatly and tightly packed.

Re: D3Fmod Ironclad Plus Damaged

Thanks for the replies. I'm not really sure how to solder the larger component back on, but might be able to do the key3 pad. Either way, I'd rather just send to him for service. I'll report back when I hear from him and post the outcome.

D3Fmod Ironclad Plus Damaged

I'm wondering if anyone here has any feedback or suggestions. I preordered an Ironclad in the beginning of 2022 and received it about a month ago. I opened it up a week later and there was a missing button (Key3....ended up finding it laying in the box) and another component that appears to have fallen off during transport. I believe this component...

Re: Weird Graphic Glitch

I feel like I should know this.....how does one go about updating to the unstable nightly build? -Download the latest nightly build from FPGAzumSpass's link (eg MiSTer_unstable_20220719_179301) -Rename the file to 'MiSTer' -Connect to your MiSTer from PC via FTP, SFTP, SMB etc or connect the microsd directly to your PC with a card reader -On the r...
