Hiya, I was trying to figure out why my ZX81 went away and the search led me here. I thought I'd offer my thoughts on the rename for what they're worth (probably not much). I was living in the US at the time and the ZX80 and 81 were both sold in the US before the re-jiggered Timex Sinclair 1000 came round. I had a US model 80 and 81. I'd never hear...
