I primarily use a PS5 controller for MISTer gaming, but the games on this collection seem to be detecting the PS5 controller as a mouse (i.e. it will let me use the touch pad as a mouse cursor and pressing it does a left click) Has anyone had any luck getting a PS5 controller to work with games like HEretic, Doom or Jazz Jackrabbit?

Whenever I try to run the Black Widow core, the game graphics are all weird and broken up (see screenshot)

Is there some graphic setting in the core that causes this? I've fiddled with the graphical settings but nothing seems to work.

I think when I ran Update All last, it took out a bunch of the cheat files that were in the Genesis Core folder. Not sure if there's a way to get them back manually

Yeah Gauntlet and Klax both have a vertical alignment, you had the hold the Lynx sideways to play them. I'm not sure if there were any other games like that, but those were the two that I owned.

I use a PS5 DualSense for most games including the 5200. Generally I can map enough of the keys to the buttons and analogue stick to make like 90% of the games playable. I don't seem to have the same issue on my end. I tried X and X2 and I was able to jump and dash while still having the buster charged up. I wouldn't have any solutions on my end, but is it possible that it has to do with the controller being in wireless or wired mode? (I run mine wired)

OK that was the problem I was having. I bought a replica pro controller from Atariage, so those shared buttons were tripping me up. Now I can configure all the buttons correctly. Now I just need to figure out why the dpad seems wonky, especially when trying to press "Up" I might look into one of the dpad enhancements I saw on Ebay.

How were you able to map the keypad buttons. I just got a controller and adaptor and it won't let me map the "Up" function sometimes and also some of the keypad buttons. It's almost like they're already assigned to other functions.

I plugged the hard drive in to try to reformat it and now it's letting me format it to exFAT. Does anyone have a recommendation on the Allocation Unit Size? The default selected was 512.

It's NTFS. That's the only option I was given when formatting it. My MISTer also randomly decides that the hard drive isn't actually there, even after upgrading the power supply, which I thought was the issue. I've decided to just go back to using the Flash Drive for now.

I recently switched my Flash Drive to a 2TB USB Hard Drive. When I was using my flash drive, I could connect to it via FTP and transfer files to it using the FTP Software. I may just buy a bluetooth adaptor and try to configure it that way. I mostly just wanted to use it wired because I assumed there's less lag/latency. Right now I'm using a SN30 Pro from 8bitdo which works well, I just like the form factor of a DS4 a bit more.

I tried using it on my PS5 using the same cable (not sure if it's a data cable or not) and it worked perfectly fine. I'm not totally sure if the USB hub is powered, but I think it is. I got my unit from MISTer addons.

Does anyone have a setup for Food Fight Arcade with analogue controls? When I try to configure the game using my 8bitdo controller with dual analogue sticks, the character will automatically move in one direction. Sometimes this issue automatically corrects itself during gameplay, but it is not consistent.

I'm new to MISTer and getting things set up. I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to configure the ATari 5200 core to best work with the dual stick games (Space Dungeon and Robotron)? On original hardware you'd use the joystick coupler to use two sticks, but is there any way to simulate this on like a dual analog controller?
