Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display
I'm currently hunting for the lowest latency gaming monitor at 60hz and according to many rating/testing websites the Alienware AW2521H is the fastest monitor you can buy at 60hz. Has anyone on here tried one with the Mister? If anyone is curious it tests at 8.4ms of measurable lag at 60hz. It also tests at a 1100:1 contrast ratio, which isn't that...

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development
I'm thrilled a Saturn core is being created for the Mister! I recently joined Sergey's Patreon. I hope the Mess in Ukraine gets wrapped up quickly and things can get back to normal. Well as normal as they ever were I guess.

Re: Must Play Metroidvania Games
I really enjoy Rikki & Vikki on the 7800. It’s a 2018 Homebrew release. I think if you buy it on steam for Windows they include the binary and it can be patched to work with the 7800 core. I’ve never tried it on the Mister, but I need to.

Re: CRT vs. LCD "Disadvantage of CRT with Cores"
I recently picked up a 15K1F 15.6” Oled to play my mister. Once it finally arrives I’ll give it a comparison against my plasma and Sony CRT TV. I’m fairly certain the Oled will be great with ease of rotation because of its size/weight. I also think it’s 1ms response time should be good enough. I’ve never owned an Oled so I’m looking forward to its ...

Re: 4:3 1600x1200 LCD screen videos settings
What’s the input lag like with the Eizo S2133. I’ve read that it’s 6ms GTG. Does that seem to be good enough for most cores? Thanks!

Re: Vectrex Core
This is awesome, yes. It's not public domain, but the fact that he allows this is great. But what isn't awesome is the elitist Vectrex homebrew scene that has an air of Bullington Boys club, about it. Where limited runs of homebrew are sold, then ended, thus creating an artificial scarcity, and rarity, making any homebrew carts suddenly very valua...

Re: What Do You Think Will Happen Once MiSTer Reaches It's Limits?
This topic went the way I expected just by looking at the title, discussing emulating super mega duper powerful systems like PS2. My question is rather something in between- will it be possible to emulate rare systems like 3DO and CDI?? I know they were all commercial failures but this is why these systems should rather be in top priority of prese...

Re: USB Hub V2.1
Thanks for your help. I guess the Sata enclosure I just purchased will be pretty slow. That’s ok atleast I can cheaply get some storage.

USB Hub V2.1
I'm trying to find some documentation on the speed of the USB on this hub. What USB revision is it using? I'm generally curious because of the Sata hard drive adapter I recently purchased.
Thanks!
