This doesn't help i'm afraid. Still waiting on the "Setting Video Mode.. Press any key to continue" screen, and then it quits back to the MiSTer start menu.
Will check later if i didn't something wrong.
The file system is Exfat.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will try it later.
Another question: What is the correct path if i want to start OpenBor from my external SSD, which is Device usb0? Is this possible? It doesnt start (no error).
OPENBOR_HOME_DIR="/media/usb0/OpenBOR"
Works great now, with all my controllers attached. Thanks for the fast fix.
Sure!
Btw: The engine crashes when i try to select the video -> screen options in the games.
Will try a real CRT later. But it looks nice on a big OLED too, with CRT filter enabled (and vertical prescale for the proper look).
edit: Argh, you can't enlarge the attached picture to original size for viewing. Shame, looks great live on the TV.
Ah, nice. Now it works fine. Will slap some proper Retro Tink 4K CRT filter on it. Thanks for this port. Haven't tried OpenBOR in a long time.
I've removed some controller. Now i can enter the game. But i can't enter the "options" screen. No pad or the mini keyboard works for the directions.
Hehe, nice catch. Yep, i need my pads, mouse, mini keyboard.
I'll try the static one.
edit: I'll use update_all very regulalry. The Linux side should be current.
Done!
Mmh, i've used this script.
https://github.com/bbond007/MiSTer_Scum ... ScummVM.sh
Installs a lot, but i still get the same error. Do i need to install more from ScummVM?
edit: ScummVM itself works fine. Just tested Sam & Max.
I noticed that the normal "Alien Breed" WHDLoad version is missing. This one has proper patched CD32 controls and cheats. Only the SE seem to be there, and the Story disk.
Just run the script again. The first time the .mra files aren't downloaded. Happend here too.
I agree. For Arcade games in proper native speed it's mandatory to have a Gsync/Freesync capable monitor/TV. Forcing the games to 60Hz isn't fun at times (e.g for 55-57Hz games), it's too fast.
I tested some games with issues and the small audio cracking when a track starts is still present but it seems better then before.
This was fixed with a MiSTer unstable release some days/weeks ago. Most recent sound issue is distortion in some games (mostly sfx). Introduced since the volume increase fix some core releases ago.
Yeah, noticed this too. Very strange. I have an option in the "Game" tab.
I assume "Freesync" in the monitor OSD is enabled too?
32 seconds sync loss? This isn't normal for sure. Same happens via DisplayPort connection? The included monitor cables are mostly shitty. Have you tried better ones?
This is a Freesync monitor. Try vrr_mode=2. Works fine on my Dell S2721DGFA. Also set the vrr_min_framerate=X, vrr_max_framerate=X accordingly to the VRR range that this monitors supports.
Resident Evil 2 PAL is fine though. Didn't complete it, but played a few hours.
Exhumed and Panzer Dragon 2 are fine on my MiSTer with the latest Core.
The last 2-3 updates (including updating the Mister Main unstable too) fixed a lot of sound issues, like CDDA crackles in many games (before every CDDA track started there was a crackle/static sound). Also tons of other games are fine now, like Elevator Action Returns.
Grenades = Press Fire Button 1 and direction down at the same time. Awkward, but working.
Cheat engine
Standard cheats location is supported for HuCard games. For CD-ROM game all cheats must be zipped into a single zip file and placed inside game's CD-ROM folder.
This is how it is, and it works fine for me.
