Re: Problem With the PAL CRT TV
PAL CRTs will always display an NTSC AV composite or RF signal (or vice versa) on black and white. The only way to get full colour is to use an RGB cabled connection, or get the device (in this case the MiSTer) to display the correct PAL or NTSC signal for your CRT, as required. Should be able to configure that in the .ini or possible the core sett...

Re: Black Screen When Loading Core
Interestingly, I took the SD card out of the MiSTer, and changed all of the folders/filenames locally on there to all uppercase, and it seems to have resolved the issue! Maybe it doesn't matter whether it's lower or upper, so long as it's consistent?
Anyway, thanks for the help!

Re: Black Screen When Loading Core
Ah OK, that makes sense. Do you know what case this core requires?
I tried renaming the folder on my NAS to GAMES/AO486/BOOT0.ROM (or BOOT1.ROM), but the problem sadly persists

Re: Black Screen When Loading Core
So, I'm getting a completely black screen when loading the core. I can open the OSD as usual, not nothing displays on the actual core itself. My MiSTer folder setup is held on my NAS, but I have tried copying the right files to both the NAS and to the SD card (with the NAS being turned unmounted). I am copying boot0.rom and boot1.rom to the Games/a...

Black Screen When Loading Core
Hi all, I'm trying to get setup with the ao486 core. However, even though I'm using the latest .rbf files and boot roms, whenever I load the core I just get a black screen. The core menu loads up OK, but the actual core itself is giving me nothing, even if I try and boot up a valid DOS image. And if I don't boot any images, I don't get any errors, ...

Re: Phillips Consumer CRT - Pink Tint over RGB SCART
Try flipping the SOG switch on your IO board. There's also vga_sog=0 / 1 added recently in the newer mister.inis which might affect that. That's it! I added the line vga_sog=1 ; 1 - enable sync on green (needs analog I/O board v6.0 or newer). Now, when the SOG switch is set to Off, everything is as it should be. Looks like I'll need to update my ....

Phillips Consumer CRT - Pink Tint over RGB SCART
Hi all, I recently received my MiSTer within the last fortnight and I love it, however, I have noticed a problem. At various points, I notice a pink tint affecting whites/greys on my CRT. I'm using my MiSTer with a MiSTer IO Board v6.1 from MisterFGPA.co.uk, and I'm using this RGB SCART cable . I'm getting a pink tint on the main menu, and it's ver...
