Re: d3fmod Ironclad Question

I forgot to mention, you will want the plus (+) core not the minus (-) core.

Re: d3fmod Ironclad Question

I'm not sure if this is the same for every core, but there are extra steps to get it working in ao486. The MT32pi hat is connected to the second user I/O port and ao486 expects it to be on the first user I/O port so it doesn't actually see it. You have to either download a modified core or compile the core yourself so that it points to the second u...

Re: Problems with MiSTer Ironclad mt32-pi Hat and ao486 Cores

I haven't heard of any new work on this. I actually switched back to my external mt32-pi even though I have a fully functional mt32-pi hat inside my unit.

Re: Show Us Your MiSTers

I left my Misterfpga on atract mode for a few hours, and noticed this "electrical smell", and later some screen tearing that would be solved by rebooting. So, I placed a buch of heatsinks and a Noctua fan: Just a quick word of caution. Those anti-static bags are actually conductive. You should never place an electronic device on them whi...

Re: Custom 3D Printed Cases For MiSTer

I bought one of your cases a few months ago for my TTY2OLED screen. It was very well made, and I have been very happy with it. I really appreciated how you used counter-sunk metal threads for the screws. I have ordered things from other makers where they have metal screws going right into the filament which ends up causing cracks. You do good work.

That was it. I redownloaded and it works fine now. I was using wget so I didn't even notice the HTML download. Thank you!

Problems with MiSTer Ironclad mt32-pi Hat and ao486 Cores

I'm running into an issue and I'm not sure which part of my setup is the issue so I thought I would start here. I have a Mister FPGA setup using the Mini-ITX Ironclad Plus board from d3fmod. When I hook up an external mt32-pi to the user I/O port it works perfectly fine in the standard ao486 core. I tested it with King's Quest VI and everything wor...
