Re: My MiSTer Keeps Changing Its (Wired) IP Address All of a Sudden
For anyone having the issue of new IP addresses via DHCP on every cold boot, I'm curious if you're running into the same issue with request IAIDs I raised a while back. I think this is it. I just did an update_all the other day after not having done one in months and ran into this. I noticed that there were several leases belonging to my MiSTer in...

Re: SFTP from Mister script not working
The error I quoted is saying that /dev/tty does not exist. it does exist when you SSH into Linux. I suspect that when run from the menu, the environment is different. SSH (and sftp) want to be able to directly interact with the terminal in order to make it more likely that a human is entering the passphrase in a manner that can't be snooped on by a...

debug1: read_passphrase: can't open /dev/tty: No such device or address debu1: No more authentication methods to try Permission denied (publickey). Connection closed Does your ssh keypair have a passphrase? If so, that may be causing problems. Might be easier to pull files from the MiSTer than try to push them, for example: sshpass -p1 scp -p root...

Re: Audio Noise and Distortion from IO Board
I built my MiSTer a year ago (maybe?) and I am using the 3.5mm jack on the analog board just because the spare monitor I am using doesn't do audio. I haven't noticed too much of a difference with the audio than emulator, or what I remember from the original systems. How can I tell which DAC I have? I have been curious about this

Re: Any chance to add Tandy sound to ao486?
Perhaps somebody can integrate the JT89 verilog code into ao486? I believe most (if not all) Tandy PCs that had the 3-voice chip had Intel 8088 CPUs that ran at 8 MHz (maybe 16 MHz?). Some of the older games that had support for the Tandy 3-voice chip (and didn't have support for OPL3 and SoundBlaster) also relied on the CPU clock for timing. This...
