Re: Screen Glitching After Script Launching

I had a very similar issue mainly when loading Sega cores, and the graphics would immediately start glitching and jittering. It was noted my INI file had some outdated settings in it, and was missing some newer settings. A replacement INI was posted, which I copied in to replace my existing file, and the jitter issue was corrected. Ref this topic: ...

Re: Power Switch: A Small but Important Question

I was planning on doing something similar, using a micro ITX case that has an integrated momentary power switch. I'm going to use a MeanWell 5v/12v power supply to power both the DE10 stack, and a powered USB hub that will be mounted in the backplane of the case (removing any USB load completely from the DE10 USB). Far as the power switch goes, I'l...

Re: Sega cores video issue - unstable, jittery video

Update. Thank you - That seems to have corrected the video jitter on the Sega cores - now I need to go back through the settings and see which one migt have been the culprit. It may have injected a secondary issue of some of the CD images loading and crashing, which did not happen before, but I've only tried one disc image that did it. Anyway, the ...

Copied... I'm going to swap out what you have here for the current INI I'm running & see if it changes anything. Thanks.

Re: Transfering Commodore 128 Core

I'm new to the MiSTer stuff, but fairly old to the PC world - I date back to the late 70s/early 80s using a "home computer". Far as the discussion at hand - it would seem to me that memory is cheap anymore - what's the big deal if there is one more folder on the SD card marked C128, right next to the one that's marked "C64"? If ...

Re: Sega cores video issue - unstable, jittery video

I've done some more testing and tinkering, and it really does seem to be something with just the SEGA cores. NES, SNES, Vectrex, TG16, C=64, and PSX I've tested so far... none of them have any notable display issue at all. As I mentioned, it happens as soon as the core is loaded, without loading any game image. If I pull up the menu, as the highlig...

Sega cores video issue - unstable, jittery video

Searched & looked through several topics in here about the video & video effects on the Sega cores... I'm new to the MiSTer scene, but have pretty decent PC / console, and general electronics skill. As I'm new to this hardware, I'm not completely sure what I should and should not expect from this system. The DE10 appears to be running corre...
