Re: N64 Core
The black screen question has been asked a few times on here - I also get black screens for a lot of games I wanna try. Banjo, Majora, OoT, Diddy are all not working at all. SM64, Mk64, Starfox are working flawlessly for example. From what I understand, the unstable release is not needed anymore? I put in the boot.roms, the database txt file and up...

Re: Depricated.
First - thanks for providing and curating this pack of games, it's been an awesome nostalgia trip so far! Something seems to be unstable for me though. Games that have worked in the past don't load anymore like Day of the Tentacle. When I try to load it, the mouse and keyboard just freeze when the red text message and at max to the point where I g...

Re: Can't get MiSTer to put out a good picture through VGA- Scart cable
have you set the jumper to 5V on the analogue out board? https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Wiki_MiSTer/wiki/IO-Board Its the part close to vga out where it says VGA PWR, change the jumper so its on the 5V + middle. If you don't have it, like in the picture, then it's time for some soldering. Thanks for the feedback - the jumper is there and I set it...

Can't get MiSTer to put out a good picture through VGA- Scart cable
So I have this nice old PAL Sony Trinitron 29X1D that I use for my GameCube normally. Worked always great with that and still does, 60Hz RGB signal, no problem. When I'm trying to connect my MiSTer to that TV though, I get 70% snow - and not the intentional one from the menu screen. Everything is washed out and the menus are barely visible. Doesn't...

Re: Some questions regarding C64 and Wonderswan Color
With the C64, there are multiple variations on how to transition from the start screen to the game: Joystick button (it had two joystick ports, so you might need to try "Swap Joystick" in the OSD), space bar, return and one of the function keys. With James Bond, you can select the number of players and difficuly with F3 and F5 (which the...

Some questions regarding C64 and Wonderswan Color
Hey everyone, just got my MiSTer and love it so much already. The tinkering and nostalgia balance hits just the right spot for me! I'm kinda stuck on C64 though - I can load games but I'm missing a "Start" button. I remember that there was a button like that on my original C64 but I have no idea where they are emulating that on a keyboard...

Re: Depricated.
Edit: After widening my google search, it seems like this happens because the mouse driver is crashing. If I start the game by keyboard it works. The other dead end I arrived in is the games that offer the "autorun" and the "readme" text on the left while showing filepaths on the right. Using autorun ends up in a loop between &q...
