I had a suspect inline for about a year. Finally ditched it, and got a quality psu (Triad). I paired it with a smart outlet so I can just toggle the MiSTer with an app now

Thanks for the work on adding MIDI over UART @shira and @wark91! I initially had some wonky behavior but resetting via UART menu seemed to do the trick. Castlevania sounds great with an SC-88 8-) Does anyone know how to set a core specific video_mode in the MiSTer.ini for this? I tried [x68000] and a few modes underneath but they didn't seem to take.

Version 1.2 works for me under DOS 6.22 - make sure your clock speed is cranked up and L2 cache enabled. Back before the ao486 overhaul, heretic would freeze for me as well during that initial load. Prepare to be underwhelmed though. You'll need to decrease the screen size by at least 2 to get what I consider a respectable framerate. (edit I'm actu...

First attempt at a custom case:
Eventually because of shortcomings (like port access) I ditched it for a more basic setup: I'd like to do another custom case some day, just waiting for motivation
