It did update the boot VHD though which I also use for my large eXoDOS VHD. Still, I dont think that is the issue because if I boot Windows 98, that now struggles to browse the disk now (it used to work fine before). It's a real mystery.

I know I am pushing it, but it did used to work perfectly until a couple of days ago. I'm trying to figure out why it was working fine before but not anymore

Smartdrv just seems to freeze

Thanks I'll try smartdrv and report back. As for chkdsk I already tried that by attaching the VHD in Windows 11. It reported no errors. Interestingly enough this seemed to start having issues when I executed the eXoDOSTop300Updater script (since I have that pack too) which updated the shared boot VHD which both use. Perhaps coincidence but maybe not?

It is a lot but that's just how big eXoDOS is. I waited several minutes for DIR to complete before I gave up. Sometimes Total DOS Launcher opens up instantaneously but other times it says "Inspecting file cache at E:\GAMES" and that takes like 5 minutes. I'm having issues too. Sometimes DOS struggles to read my 120gb eXoDOS VHD. Sometimes it's fine but lately it struggles to read it. When I try to view thew contents of the drive with the DIR command I see the list of files but then DOS freezes when it gets to the bottom of the list and attempts to print the available disk space information

AmigaOS 3.2 supports scroll wheel but this doesn't seem to work on the MiSTer. Is there any extra config I need to perform to get that working?

Alone in the Dark in this collection has no music. Any way to get that working? It's just not the same without that soundtrack!

Unfortunately 1440p mode 12 gets no sync at all for me

Hmm was just in the Minimig core and when it switched screen mode in AmigaOS to an interlaced mode it started to become unstable again (it's usually fine when I switch screen modes). Looks like its not just the MiSTer menu that has the issue. [EDIT}: I was able to stabilise it just now by changing the output to 1280x720. Not ideal, I'd expect this ...

Thanks yeah I already checked for a main section in the ini file and there isn't one. PAL mode is disabled but even if I enable it, the issue remains. It's really annoying, especially if I'm using the terminal or running the update script since that only outputs to the HDMI.
