Re: Controllers for Each Core Is This Possible? [Solved]

Yep- what you have above is correct. I was able to plug in and configure each controller correctly, and it works where expected. I think it's going to be a great idea to leave everything plugged in (except the 2600-Daptor- guess I'll leave that one unplugged until I need it).

Re: Controllers for Each Core Is This Possible? [Solved]

Thank you antibolo! I misunderstood "Reset Player Assignment" and most likely threw a big wrench in my testing. I'll try again tonight and report back here. Also- to those using a 2600-Daptor, be aware that "Auto-Detect" means that you need to hold down a button on your controller when powering up or plugging the device into USB...

Controllers for Each Core Is This Possible? [Solved]

Here's what I'm trying to do, if anyone has a suggestion, I'd love to hear it! I've got a MISTER with RAM, AnalogIO board and a USB hub connected to a 25" arcade CRT (Standard resolution K7000 series) I'm building a horizontal Mistercade to run: Horizontal arcade games- within control limitations. I won't have a trackball, but do plan on a spi...

Re: Analog IO Board, Arcade CRT and Screen Issue With Some Cores [Solved]

Issue solved. Turns out my HSYNC and VSYNC were reversed. I'm really surprised it worked as well as it did (Palm slap on forehead). Thank you Xbytes for the hint!

Re: Analog IO Board, Arcade CRT and Screen Issue With Some Cores [Solved]

Awesome question! The answer is that with Hhold I can get the top half level, but it's definitely not "right". The Vhold just gives me 'Scrolling screen/steady screen' past a threshold, it doesn't improve the image. Using HPOS affects the top half of the screen more than the bottom half, so I can align the two halves, but I still have tha...

So here's Joust, colors look off (and they are somewhat) but in this frame it's more camera timing than actual colors.

Next Defender and Donkey Kong, which are clearly warped on top. Anyone ever see this?

Analog IO Board, Arcade CRT and Screen Issue With Some Cores [Solved]

Here's an interesting one, to me at least. I've had my Mister for a few years, but recently decided to build up my dream cab. This consists of: MisterFPGA Single RAM board Analog IO board WG model 25K7193 (K7000 series standard res) USB hub What I'm trying to do is build a cabinet that features horizontal arcades & consoles, and select classic ...
