No luck with the VGA connection. I still get snow and a locked up MiSTer when trying to achieve the 1440p settings. VGA worked fine for the 1536x1200 resolution (same as the HDMI input). Maybe I’m answering my own question here, but from what I’ve read on the Atari forums, it appears as though the MiSTer’s pixel clock is limited to 165MHz over HDMI, which is how I have my monitor connected. Thanks Thorr, I was able to get vertical games such as 1942 and Mappy working well via the J-Tech converter. Obviously 480i via s-video would likely look better for these as you've already mentioned, however, it's already crazy enough behind by Sony CRT, so dropping in another HDMI switch and HMDI to S-video converter might push me over the edge. I figured it out. I needed to set “YPbPr=0” in the Mister ini file. Looks good now! I forgot that it was outputting over HDMI then getting converted in the external box to component. Now to see if I can get the vertical games to rotate on my CRT!

Update: I received the afore mentioned J-Tech Digital HDMI to component converter and have it hooked up as directed. Unfortunately, my output has a heavy green tint (I.e. whites are green). I tried swapping out both component and HDMI cables, but no luck. When I switch the converter box from VGA output to Component output via the front switch, the ...

Anybody else having problems with launching Star Wars: X-Wing from Within TDL? I am using the EMM386 memory selection, and select the game from TDL, the launch the game normally by selecting 1, select Sound Blaster, then it immediacy black screens and sends me back to TDL. So what was the solution? I’ve got terrible screen tearing. Looks like a resolution problem with the various CRT settings (e.g. frequency, back porch, etc). Thanks for any help. I’m using a Sony WEGA 27” CRT connected via component through the MISTER IO board.
