Its the second one and your game over is fine, so do you think I have a bad WHDload copy of the game ?

I assume that game glitches are down to either a bad crack, the WHDload pack or that the core cannot handle it.

I recently see one in the first James Pond Robocod game where on loosing all your lives you
get the GAME OVER centre screen and it is glitched, I think it is meant to be flashing.

Recently purchased the full MiSTer kit with added memory and a custom fan board.

I'm still waiting for my boards to arrive, but does anyone know if it's possible to run the initial update script over WiFi? (with adapter). The guide says to connect over ethernet, and run the update script. That will automatically install the latest versions of the MiSTer binary, Menu and Cores. My router and TV are miles apart, so over ethernet...

Only thing is that you need to quit the game properly with the quit key, when WHDload games are running they are loaded into memory including disk write operations. It is only stored when you quit in order to reduce the amount of disk access. This behavior can be changed with the option NoWriteCache/S, but not recommended as it will operate slower...

Saving games under WHDload.

How do i set things up to save games that have a save game feature as in Dungeon Master which requires a
floppy disk to be inserted ?

Also can games in general be save stated ?

Thanks, I will just unarch them on my Mac then move them to the HDF via FSUAE Some games may use special characters that are not recognised in mac it is better to use a shared folder in winuae not sure if you can in fsuae have never used it to extract the files within the emulator or make a second hdf you can copy all the lha's to and then load bo...

All my WHDload games are archived with LHA, before I put them onto an HDF

Can you use Hard Disk directories under the Minimig Core as you can under UAE, if you
can it will make things a whole lot easier ?

I think on the Atar-Forum there was/is an idiots guide to pre installing an SD Card on a Mac, but cannot get to that for now :( I thought that a .img was just a backup ...

Hi Just put together my MiSTer and was wondering if if there is a real idiots guide to preparing an SD Card for Mac users ? I have watched some Youtube stuff and all that Terminal script stuff is confusing me so I have an idea to help others who maybe having the same problem.
