Re: Coco 2 + Mantra Alice + Dragon 32/64
There is something there just quiet. I can hear the 'music' :) There is an onboard amp but I did not tweak it. I should have tested a MSX .CAS to compare output. I only have a physical MSX now, but the CASdunio's output should not have changed from when I used it with a Dragon. I got the latest firmware 1.24 installed on my CASduino last night, but...

No problem. I will have a go.
Funny I was on their website yesterday and spotted that they had updated the CASdunio firmware. I will test before updating firmware and again after updating.

Re: Outboard MIDI
So I’ve built the User Port to Pi cable and put the MT32-Pi files onto a Micro SD card in a Pi 3 I had lying around. It lights up but I can’t seem to find the settings in the MiSTer menus to enable/select it. Where should I find the setting in the ao486 core? If you mean you can't see the MT32-PI option in the ao486 (or AMIGA/ATARI ST) then you ne...

Re: CPS 1.5
Yes a new memory tester would be a great idea. I left Street Fighter Zero running for about 30mins and everything seemed ok with my 128mb module. Not sure if that means mine is good? I think it would be helpful if there are photos of the various modules with a sketch added (or photo) showing new installed capacitor. Then it will help people in upgr...

Re: Coco 2 + Mantra Alice + Dragon 32/64
Regarding joysticks, when I had my Dragon I built a digital to analogue converter to use Atari standard joysticks. I am sure there are Dragon games that play better with analogue but many are Spectrum ports, that I found worked better with normal digital controls, plus my Dragon joystick was like a stick in a bucket! Modern thumbsticks are a dream!...

Re: Coco 2 + Mantra Alice + Dragon 32/64
Is audio in connected? I tried loading some tapes via my tape loader and nothing seems to be read by the MiSTer.
After I type CLOADM"" I get a high pitched noise, which I can still hear now everything is switched off

Re: Coco 2 + Mantra Alice + Dragon 32/64
Cool. I would like to test Dragon loading.
I have a CASdunio that I used with my Dragon64 for loading tapes.
Where was Dragon Core? Or is it a selection within Alice Core?
Thanks

Re: Dual Monitor Setup for RTG + PAL 15khz
What happens if you just run on the PC CRT through VGA port instead of via HDMI?
It should run seamlessly.
I have not setup RTG yet on MiSTer, but on MiST I have had it running off PC CRT fine.

Hi.
I have not tried MiSTer RTG yet, but I have for MiST. Here is the MiST RTG .adf it might help?
https://github.com/mist-devel/mist-bina ... inimig-aga
I was trying to find the MiST RTG instructions but had no luck, they could be on the .adf

Re: List of Cores with ADC (Tape Input) and RTC (Real Time Clock) Support
Pretty sure it is not yet supported on Dragon as I was talking to author. I was trying to use a CASdunio tape loader (.cas to audio signal device) which i used with a real Dragon and MSX so I knew it worked.

Re: Updated BBC Micro .MMB released
@KnC thanks for spotting that. This error would have been on the original .mmb whenever that was created. There are so many games I don't think they have all been tested.
The disks are physically contained within the .mmb so I will try and get you some commands to type in order to run them and then get it fully working from the Menu in v1.3

Re: Updated BBC Micro .MMB released
Thank you for posting that. I have some corrupted graphics with Price of Persia - any ideas why please? At the moment it seems there are differences between MiST and MiSTer BBC Cores. Hopefully with this updated .mmb it gives a quick way to test if Core changes work. I just checked and the 5 screens of Prince I saw were fine on MiSTer. You got 'Ma...

Re: Acorn Archimedes Core
Is there a way to just get an HD image to boot or do you always need to do something in RiscOS first?
It would be great to be able to distribute a file as per Amiga/Atari HD images where it just works for everyone.
I have tried a few times getting Raspberry Pi and RiscOS to work but failed so looking for a nice setup with some games etc.

Re: OPL3 Test
Sorry this is where my poor understanding of FPGA's comes in. The OPL3 was ported/compiled also for the FleaOhm which uses a Lattice FPGA. I just thought that this OPL3 Core might be more mature/smaller than the original one mentioned at the beginning of this thread and it might be able to be ported to the DE-10 Nano.
Thanks

Re: OPL3 Test
Nice work. I have an OPL3 card in my Pentium III PC. @Lukage You might know all this, but I will put it here in case there is new info. I was thinking the FPGA used in the tiny FleaOhm is much smaller than in the MiSTer so maybe the OPL3 implementation used is smaller? Anyway here is info: https://opencores.org/projects/next186_soc_pc https://githu...

Hi guys,
Have you seen this bare metal MT-32 emulator (via Munt) using a RPi :
https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi
There is a nice RPi hat, which I have one on order:
https://www.arananet.net/pedidos/produc ... berry-pi3/
Also ordered a USB MIDI interface, so hopefully in a couple of weeks I can test.

Great news!
Does it support. Cas tape files? Digital loading via menu and via audio in?
I have a CASDunio which I use with my MSX 1.

@Alkadian. Sorry for the delay. I wrote out a reply then for some reason when I looked some days later it did not get posted?! Yes I have problems with that Scramble. Interesting MiST has the opposite problems. MiST has graphics errors on the title screens but in-game it is perfect?! I have .mmb V1.1 on my PC. It looks like I never posted that to S...

Re: BBC Micro - Add New Games to VHD
@Alkadian glad you got it sorted. It was 2017 when i first managed to work out how to do it (Originally for ZX Uno DPGA device). Then it was only a few months ago when i tried following my (poor) notes. Last night i was trying to get .mmb working with the emulator BeebEm (i got it working in 2017!) as it is quicker and easier to edit/test changes t...

Re: BBC Micro - Add New Games to VHD
Hi. I did not create them, but i have been adding games to the .mmb found on Stardot.org (and is circulated about on MiST and i think MiSTER) which has a nice menu list. If you tell me which games you want added i can see about doing that. Without the menu you need to *DIN 'disknumber' This mounts the disk from the .mmb then you *cat to list disk c...
