Yep, seems broken. Freezes after a few seconds. The No-Intro dumps are 100% clean, so it should work.

Is this really stuttering? I'm mean not all Arcade games had perfect scrolling. Look at e.g. Ghost'n Goblins. This was far from being smooth in the Arcades.

Re: Best Wired USB Sega Saturn Controller Clone and Other Controller Options

Max-fpga wants to use a Daemonbite adapter. So it means you would have to use the 2.4GHz version of the M30 pad. And with this original DB9 pin version the C & Z Buttons are cloned to the shoulder buttons. Mapping in MiSTer won't help here. The Retro-Bit wired Saturn Controller is probably good enough. The 2.4GHz version, which ist bundled with...

The M30 is great, but it lacks the real Saturn shoulder buttons. The M30 shoulder buttons are cloned C & Z buttons iirc.

I've modded the 8bitdo Stick with a Sanwa Stick and an octagonal restrictor plate. Good enough for me. At least for that money.

C8, C9 and CX should look exactly the same though, it's the same panel. Then something must happend in later models. That's all i can think off.

But honestly, it's just passthrough metadata processed on the TV side. And HDR-HLG specifications didn't change into a new standard or something.

Re: New HDR Settings

It is. These are just crappy Smartphone pics, the Red comes out like this. Not much i can do. In reality it's much brighter.

HDR-HLG is 8bit. So, no color conversion happens here. SDR looks like HDR-HLG on my TV. The HDR=2 option though isn't 100% accurate. Some redish tones are indeed too dark/cool and magenta looks like purple.

Is there something different about how cheats work with CD consoles? I don't get any to appear on the turbo CD and I could use some... Yes, from the readme : For CD-ROM game all cheats must be zipped into a single zip file and placed inside game's CD-ROM folder. Zipped, and exactly named after the used CD image. But don't expect too much. A lot of...

Re: New HDR Settings

I really don't know why you guys have so much troubles with the HLG-HDR colors. It's 8bit HDR and fully backward compatible with SDR. This is how it should look (with no special settings to colors in the Mister.ini) on a LG C9. Using "game mode" with "Dynamic Tone Mapping" enabled. Saturation level is up to your own preferences....

10000 nits? This is, only theoretical, in the technical specs for Dolby Vision content. There is currently no consumer TV/monitor availabe on the market that outputs more than 1500-2000 nits, everthing above is just clipped. Very expensive studio monitors can probably do more, but nothing in the range of 10000 nits. Not even close. And this is noth...

Re: Any Way to Limit 68020 Speed?

The Minimig core supports Fast-IDE hardware though, nothing you'll find on vanilla Amigas. This make the loading times really fast. A plain A1200 is very slow on the IDE bus, unless you install PFS3 and add some fastram.

Re: Any Way to Limit 68020 Speed?

I don't know if the speed is actually the problem, could be part of it. There was never a real world Motorola 68020 CPU with 100MHz. Even on good turbocards the CPUs weren't that fast.

Lords of Thunder (USA) works perfectly fine for me (with Super System BIOS 3.0 US). Maybe the core doesn't like your Clone CD image. Try the version from the Redump collection.

Best version of Knight'n'Grail is the EasyFlash CRT from Onslaught. Yes, the MiSTer C64 core doesn't support saving into flash yet. But if you have an EasyFlash capable cart/system then go for that.

Re: Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

I've been using a Action Replay cart fast loader since the late 80s with very few issues including multi part disk based games. Me too, and i've tested hundreds of games over the years. A hardware based speeder is much more compatible. For Action Replay and multipart games: the cartridge only speeds the first part, the following parts uses always ...

Re: Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

Not really. Multi function cartriges like Action Replay are good enough for single part games/single PRGs. But a multi-part game (like this one) can break/hang any second. Dolphin DOS is a traditional hardware speeder (the Roms has to be built-in in the C64 and Floppy, together with a parallel cable) and much more compatible, nearly 100% for all no...

Re: Any Way to Limit 68020 Speed?

Yeah, could be both CPU and AGA chip related. I've read about the missing schematics for the 68020 on EAB. Same goes for some AGA features iirc.Toni Wilen uses logic analyzer to investigate things that he can't understand in the original hardware (and then try to implement in software). But i guess this won't help here, after what you just wrote ab...

Re: Any Way to Limit 68020 Speed?

There are a lot of WHDLoad games glitches, sound hickups, games that starts and quit (games that runs fine on real hardware). I wonder why the 68020 CPU for the Minimig Core was designed that way. It there a reason for NOT implementing the accurate speed, i mean from "real world" Amiga CPUs? I guess bulding a 100% cycle accurate 68020 isn...

IPF does mean all the manual based copy protection is present and its a pain in the arse. Also means you would have to pay much more attention to the config of the Amiga.
