I'm glad that 15Khz is possible. The problem is resolution. I wish the developer could change the resolution to 320X200 or 640X200. Is this possible?

Is it possible to output CGA 15Khz? I think that CGA graphics card resolution is supported up to 302X200, 640X200, so it is possible to output enough on a general crt monitor or TV. APPLE II core can output 15khz. I wonder if it is possible to make the PCXT core capable of outputting 15Khz.

I wonder if the Lion king will run fine on the ao486 without dropping frames. As I recall, lion king was difficult to play because of frame drops. Did a new bios update solve this?

The monochrome (amber/green) screens I remember didn't do gradients very well. That was more the area of what was called VGA Paperwhite monitors in the early 90's but those weren't green or amber. "Serdrive" is neither "serdrive.exe" nor "sedrive.com" file.

serdrive is the unix binary on MiSTer - the same command you use to mount the image on COM

You miss the fdisk step, I got stumped on this as well before. But I don't understand how you format the image. Because, fdisk is to format floppy drives and format is to format hdd. What version of DOS do you use with pcxt core? I've tried MS-DOS 3.31, MS-DOS 3.31 compaq, MS-DOS 5.0, freedos, and MS-DOS 6.21 in pcxt core. MS-DOS 3.31 has a maximum hdd recognizable capacity of 30MB. The conpaq version recognizes HDDs of more than that capacity so I am using this version. I saw the ao486 speed-related ticket you organized. However, the "Death track" moderate speed is 10 to 12 MHz, not 8.93Mhz. I don't think ao486 is a core with the right speed for XT and AT pcs. Not right now, but I wonder if we could get it to run at 10Mhz or 12Mhz AT-equivalent speeds with a bit of tweaking on ao486. Perhaps we can try ...
