Merry Christmas all.
Waiting for Santa to sort out UK customs for a VGA to S-video converter to use my JVC 10" PVM cube monitor, which can easily be rotated 90 degrees. And for the new year going to re-case the MiSTer into a new case that will hold the monitor and some small speakers to sit on my desk.

Arcades machines back in the day all had their own controls, and that was often what drew you in to spend your pocket money on experiencing the experience that game offered

Re: MiSTer bundle from aliexpress
I feel your pain. I fell for the ram scam on a Wish order on a SD card a while back. There's no recourse or customer coms or a way to get your money back, just a perpetual loop on a website for complaints, with no end.

Re: Microcomputer Cores Feature Wishlist
Remembering back to when I had a BBC Micro, I always remembered a low beep before the high beep when switched on. 'Burr bip'. I never played with the Master so not sure if it had that behaviour.

But if you 'morons' don't use that keyboard, it's not a Spectrum.....

Did you change the keyboard type in the core menu?

Re: What componensts do I need for full MiSTer setup?
I`ve saw that RMC multisystem board. My issue with these boards is if anything gets upgraded or improved in the furture then there is nothing you can do and are stuck with what you have. Hence why I`m thinking stack is better. I don't think that's going too be an issue. I think you'll find that if anything you'll probably want to get another DE-10...

Re: What componensts do I need for full MiSTer setup?
I'd also look at some of the all inclusive boards that DE-10 Nano slots into. Once you buy all those separate boards you could be better off with something that has a lower profile. I went for the stack system myself before some of these other options were available. The Multisystem has a thread here... https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&...

Re: ZX Keyboard Stickers?
I was wondering if there was a retro keyboard app for a touch pad that could act as a USB keyboard, so you could re-create all keyboard layouts. Couldn't find one and I don't have the programming chops to make one.

Re: ZX Spectrum Recreated Would Work as Bluetooth Keyboard With MiSTer?
I've just reviewed some posts in GitHub. Apparently there isn't much interest in adding support for the Recreated keyboard: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/ZX-Spectrum_MISTer/pull/12#issuecomment-711439558 (and it seems I'm not the first person to write a patch). I don't agree with Sorgelig's argument though, as many cores get support for controll...

Re: ZX Spectrum Recreated Would Work as Bluetooth Keyboard With MiSTer?
Well, after having tried it for a while now, I can say that the experience was superb! And I'm now convinced that it's the right approach for replicating classic computers. Adding emulation hardware to it may seem like a closer replication on the surface, but in the end it loses in flexibility. The Recreated ZX creators did it right, by making onl...

So what do I need to do with this .patch file? I've got one of these keyboards incoming based on the back of this thread.

I didn't think it was as bad as you made out. Neil from RMC is in the comments and he didn't seem to need to correct anything.

Re: About metal jesus rocks video
I've only recently started watching his channel and caught this video a few days back. And I have to agree with HappeLemons above.
I'd only add that he does have a bias though and this is disruptive tech to that whole collectors market.
