Re: S-Video and Composite Over Component Output! (Custom Cores)
Nice work. The signal is way too saturated though. Is there any way to fix this, apart from adding more resistors?

Saving to hdd sometimes does not work, savegames are not always being kept - I do use the del key to exit game after saving and I do have the saves HDD image mounted. (Chaos strikes back for instance)

I had a similar issue - for me disabling fb_terminal fixed it, however weird and unlogical it may seem.

Crazy work, well done! This machine was one of the holy grails end 1980s, and all the magazines have been talking about it for years. Absolutely amazing to be able to get a glimpse of what it could have become after all these years.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) First Pictures
I remember people have been anxiously awaiting the home computer conversions for more than a year back in 1991 or so. The game did not do much for me, but it was quite something when it was finally released. I am sure this core will be warmly welcomed by a large crowd. Great work!

Re: SNK Ikari Warriors Arcade Core
I’ve used an original stick with mame. There is a way to wire the rotary part up with a bunch of diodes and an ultimarc encoder, which I forget exactly how to do. Very cool - love this game. Was it something like this? https://github.com/GadgetReboot/Arduino/tree/master/Uno/RotaryJoystickMame I don't own an ultimarc/ipac, but I assume i could leav...

Re: PSX Controller Advice
I got myself a DS5 last week after I saw it recommended in another thread on this forum, and it works splendid here out of the box (using it wired, not over bt). Perhaps the d-pad takes some time to get used to, otherwise it is one of the better controllers for sure.

Re: External HDD problems
Try with a powered usb hub, and see if that helps. Drives with platters do peak in power consumption, and perhaps the usb port of your MiSTer setup does not deliver enough.

I have the original rotary sticks for this one. The wiring is incredibly complex, but would be so nice to be able to use them

Re: Wonderboy & Wonderboy in Monsterland
It's not released yet, from what I understood there are some issues that need to be solved first. It is included in the zip file in this post however, and it is playable. https://www.patreon.com/posts/dakko-chan-is-in-55618085

Re: How to Really Disable Cheats Updating In update_all? [Solved]
What you'll want to do is use the filter option, but don't use the ! (not) operator before your filter terms. You'll want to explicitly include everything except that which you don't want updated. Using the tags works better instead of listing each core name, like this: [mister] filter = arcade computer console other utility cores mra alternatives...

ditto. I like the cheats, but I don't need to have them updated twice a week.

Please see the discussion here as well viewtopic.php?p=47060#p47060 - it may work fine without, but depending on the model of your monitor/tv you may damage it.

Re: Re:
You need to add a 470 Ohm resistor too This is awesome news! I'd love to finally get rid of the dot crawl I get from Antonio's adapter :) Thanks for all that awesome work! Noob question: I understand the VGA -> Component -> S-video conversion (with this adapter), but what connectors are required to to VGA -> Component -> Composite? You just need VG...

I guess Roadwar 2000 is still missing? That looks like a game that SPS missed, it's not in their catalog, but you can get ADFs elsewhere. Won't be as pristine as an SPS version, but if they don't have it..... I can try to track it down and see if I can package it, if that would be helpful. You just seem to have a very specific methology, and I hav...
