Amiga RTG support (Update: Released!)
There’s been a lot of requests for some sort of RTG support for the Minimig core in MiSTer. You can currently use the HD720 driver to achieve 1280×720 resolution — like I showed in this Reddit post — but I’d love to have something a bit better, since it’s kind of a hack with some limitations. jpy6qw1pfbu41.jpg Sorgelig wrote : Actually HDL part ca...

Atari System 1 & 2

Minimig HDF disk transfer speeds
Saw the update today to make the Minimig core use “ fast I/O for disk transfer ”. It’s great to see improvements in this area — if you’re curious, it went from ~1.7MB/s to ~2.1MB/s in my testing using SysInfo on the Amiga core. Disk transfer speed is one of the few things I wish was better in the Amiga implementation — but definitely don’t take thi...

Re: C64 Input Devices
You are correct in remembering that the original Competition Pro was not as loud. The initial versions did not have microswitches, that was added in later models, around the time they introduced the blue/silver models with autofire buttons. So the initial black/red model that most people have used is different than the USB model currently on sale. ...

Re: C64 Input Devices
Would you be willing to donate one for controller testing if you ended up preferring your game pads?Threepwood wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 10:25 amThe old version had a too low polling rate, but the "20 Years" edition, that is currently being sold and comes with 20 games, is fine.

Re: Gauntlet, Gauntlet II and Vindicators II
…and System 2 seems very similar, although it had medium-resolution output (512×384). It has some of the most iconic (IMO) arcade games: APB, Super Sprint, Paperboy, 720° — would be a fantastic core to have for MiSTer.
