I have cleaned this thread up somewhat, a number of posts have been deleted as verbal abuse towards other forum users is not acceptable behaviour. On topic discussion please. Thanks.

Try to search the forum: once a user revived a DE-10 nano using some voodoo. I think he used JTAG for CPR.
Sorry I cannot help more but it has to be somewhere in the forum.

I think this might be the thread you mean?

The MiSTer IO board only has a 2 pin fan connector, so you will need to modify the fan connector to suit the IO boards 2 pin header connector.

NF-A4x10 you want the dedicated 5V version for low noise as it can easily run at 3.3V using the jumper select on the IO boards.

Re: USB Bridge Board

You need a USB hub like this as show on the metal case product page. So I think you will need a new complete new USB hub if you wish to use this case type.

Requires a USB hub with DC power jack and USB bracket. If you don’t have a USB bracket, please ensure you have header pins behind the micro USB port.

Re: All Was Going Well but Then I Updated All

Are you sure? I would recommend using Notepad++ for MISTer. Yes I am, as they are text based files NotePad although basic is sufficient for quick editing .ini files on a Windows PC. Notepad++ is also an excellent recommendation as a third party alternative if you wish to download and install additional software, it's certainly better than Window's...

I just know that they're supposed to be set to specific patterns. I'm pretty sure the Wiki has docs on those.

That is correct, the DIP switch configuration for the DE10-Nano is here for reference:

Re: MiSTer Doesn't Power Up

If that's just foam, like it appears, you definitely want to pull it out of there. Out of curiosity, what's the white thing on top of the FPGA? You might want to install a fan, and a heat sink with fins, if that isn't some kind of super duper esoteric heat sink. Pretty sure it is the thermal pad for cooling the DE10-nano's Cyclone V SoC when using...

Re: Can't see MiSTer loading roms anymore?

Yes I have. How do I change it back? If I remember correctly the script also uses a custom build of MiSTer main. An .ini option exisits to toggle the ROM loading progress bar, this .ini option is only functional with the custom build of MiSTer main, which the Insert-Coin script also uses. https://github.com/funkycochise/Main_MiSTer You could also ...

I will have a look at these, however, unless they are approved by phpBB as an extension and actively maintained I do not think it will be a wise addition to the forum, this is for a number of reasons including security concerns, and becoming obsolete with no support as the core forum software is updated.

I found a couple of examples on the internet of the modification for the v6.0 IO board. You just need two pieces of wire and a 100 ohm resistor, connect wires and resistor as shown in the images and cut the tracks on the PCB.

Unregistered GitHub visitors just see the .rbf build filename that they are unable to download, I have already talked a number of for...
