Script designers! help! getting eduke3d on MiSTer

I would like to compile eduke3d (if possible) onto the mister, like prboom port does. ao486 has some trouble running duke  I've seen author downloaded all dependencies as .deb files, and there's no apt-get command in our Linux... so, my question is, which architecture we should download the packages to? Packages list are easy, it's listed on:...

Re: Game & Watch Core

Thanks for the files Mr Tomato, what guide were you looking at? I found that on GitHub page there is some html file to "port" games but, I am looking for clean way to convert roms from that pack that I posted to BIN files. https://github.com/pcornier/GnW_MiSTer/tree/master/tools Also read me isn't completed yet for now how to use this, s...

Kemptston mouse problems

is there any configuration or OSD feedback for mouse?
I've been crazily trying, even compiling a simple kemptston mouse .TAP file:

Read all documentation which says mouse has auto-detection, but no proper mouse was possible.

ISA over USB (just a curiosity)

I've found this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jW1dGRhmsE

and this Twitter thread:
https://twitter.com/Manawyrm/status/1316416988202369024

It looks amazing how it managed to run ISA over USB bus :o

It works on PCEM, so I guess some crazy potter could play a bit with the mister ao486.

Request: port existing minimalistic x86 core

Someone sent me this x86 core:
https://github.com/marmolejo/zet

We know ao486 core offers x86 instructions, but it does not run properly older games (even by reducing CPU MHz).

As it is already implemented in FPGA, would it be so difficult to port to Mister?

Thanks!!!

* Side scrolling already causes some artifacts for games like Commander KEEN. It might be interesting to add a 'crop' option in the output image filter settings?

I didn't updated again the Mister file, I'm not sure if it's required again.
Fixed this just going into settings and configuring again the ao486. I guess there some weirdness in my ao486 configuration that self-fixed reconfiguring it.

I've seen this strange scroll artifacts on 2d games See right part of the screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVMoYMJb3hk It's strange as it only happens on horizontal scrolling. This is just hw/coding limitation of that era. Video under explains this on NES. Why you see it is simply because your screen doesn't do overscan anymore as CRTs did ...
