just watched this, its really interesting in relation to lag or the lack of it on Mister.

if it is a mechanical hard drive, they have a higher power draw than ssd hdd, I had issues with the 2 amp provided with the de10 nano, as soon as I upgraded to a 4 amp power supply it all worked fine, i am thinking it will be your power supply is under powered.

Just boot up mister then unplug and plug back in your usb keyboard, the keys will work fine for a few seconds, quick navigate to do the update, if the keyboard stops again, just unplug and plug in keyboard again till you can navigate and run the blisster update script, thats what i did no problems after updating firmware but remember to update both...

The HDMI output looks better. The VGA output from the analog IO board is not as vivid, on any core. It is duller by comparison.
