I can't link to anything, but there are two kinds of mame roms, merged and non-merged. You don't need to merge them yourself or anything, they will be labelled "merged" on various websites, and you just get those roms.

I haven't had an issue so far. Here's what I did: Make a folder named "_Arcade" in root of SD card. Put all the CPS1 .mra files in "_Arcade" folder. Inside "_Arcade", make a "cores" folder, as well as a "mame" folder. Inside "cores" folder, put the CPS1 core. Inside "mame" folder...

I notice the audio pop the most in Spriggan Mark 2: Re Terraform Project (Japan). It tends to happen in the beginning or end of cutscenes or voice dialogues. Audio pop when CD track begins playing
I am guessing that this has to do with audio being streamed from the Linux side. Perhaps a solution would be to keep the Linux audio muted while it's being initialized. If this results in audio being cut off, then perhaps audio could be initialized when the core boots instead, and keep it active all the time (but muted when it's not used)?

I would love to have FM-Towns as well. The FM-Towns uses the YM2612 for FM music, same as the MegaDrive. I believe that some code could be shared with a PC-98 core as well (the x86 CPU).

Support for CD-Rom images would be very useful in my opinion. There are some DOS games that stream audio tracks from disc. Installing operating systems would also be easier.

I start the game in story mode and select Megumi. Then when I get to this scene, the text looks off.
