Groovy Mame is a fork of Mame for CRT use. Its inherently no more accurate than Mame. As its a Mame its dependent on the version of Mame used. Merged Roms generally are smaller in size but updating them is more of a pain, unless you use ClrMamePro
Someone made a build to do so, but I dont remember the details, but I have to ask why ? Its a very useful inidcation that the core is doing something.
you should never be applying shadow masks or filters to a CRT. The whole point of a CRT is thats an inherent weakness/strength of the system. Shadow masks were a result of trying to get around a problem with CRT displays
The ARM Chip in the DE10 could not cope with Modern Mame. It is a weak arm.
DB9 is not supported by Mister its an independent effort to keep it up to date.
Dont run the CD at anything but 1x and you will have no issues.
Overclocked Neo Geo can suffer graphical corruption. The machine is not built to run that fast and so is unstable
RexMendicorvm wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 11:35 amEvery time I try to play "Rikki & Vikki" on the 7800 core I just get flashing trash on the screen. Is there some special setting that needs to be enabled for the game to run properly?
It has to be patched

Look for a post by Kitrinx with the patch
Or learn to SSH into Mister and edit in place
The IO port does not have channels available to do anything like a graphic card. The best device for late 486 and pentiums is a modern PC running DosBox. The current A0486 core occupies most of the FPGA and cant be expanded without a rewrite.

No The core does not need an unstable Mister
This is the right link from Discord

It provides a way for emulators that have been adapted to output video via the Mister to a CRT. Thus opening the games playable on the Mister to those that can be played on emulators.
This maybe

Not strictly a spinner and joystick but its well made. I havent used mine with a mister yet only in Mame
Also flash128k|tpak are not a cart ID they are instructions to the N64 core to setup 128k of flash and allow a transfer pack
Also IPF support is being worked on as a result of the fixes he made to the pulse timings. Its an exciting time
Mode 14 is technically above what the DE10 is rated to.
All Nes roms have to be Nes 2.0 headered. If this conversion doesnt it wont work on the Mister
breiztiger wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 7:36 pmSome Amstrad cpc emulators like caprice forever or sugarbox have ipf support with codes from scratch to read or write ipf files
Rob Smith has stated in his latests video he is working on IPS
