Re: MSU-1
I must be doing something wrong because I can't seem to get MSU working on my setup. I'm using the newest unstable main & snes builds. The games I've tried work on an old SD2SNES

2019? Yeah I'd say that's old. It probably doesn't work anymore with the current main framework of the MiSTer

Overall, it works although some cheats are hit or miss. For instance, when you activate both hidden characters in Twisted Metal 2 it will unlock Sweettooth but not Minion. I wonder if this is an issue with the cheat itself or MiSTer specific issue
I still remember that one from 8th grade

I don't think anyone is working on this, I haven't heard any news in so long. This is one of the reason I keep a SD2SNES around. I really enjoyed the Earthbound MSU my last playthrough.

I just played Super Burnout on a real Jaguar system and it was pretty cool and fun. The game starts with the Jag core but you can't actually able to load any race any tracks properly but the Jag core I have is from 2020 February 26...haha that's actually today. You need to be using the build that Kitrinx posted on the discord a week or so back, wh...

I ordered one of these from Raphnet
https://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/p ... /index.php
I also use their Saturn adapter and it works wonderful. I always recommend their products but then again, I don't care about wireless controllers at all.

I can say I have personally played the USA rom all the way through and didn't see anything like that. I've played about half of the Famicom disk version but didn't quite understand the leveling system and it didn't save in the way I though it would so.....fuck that version. Anyway, I didn't' notice anything wrong like what you are seeing. I'd like ...

So will this new updater include Jotego betas or is this only "official" downloads? Update_all.sh works very well for me. I welcome new change and I understand today is the roll out but I'm just interested in the actual differences besides hitting the Github hard.

Re: shared CIFS saves question
you know you're right now that I think about it. I manually changed the path in the script because I only used it for games. If I just copy the file hierarchy as it is on the SD Card all should work, rather than just game folders. Thanks again. I know this was stupid question

Re: shared CIFS saves question
Thank you, I'll need to figure out to adjust the script to enable two paths for the mounts like
/media/fat/ <-saves
/media/fat/games <-for the games
you can have two right?

shared CIFS saves question
I've been using a shared folder on my PC between three MiSTers on my network. It's been great to be able to share Sega CD games in a single location between all of them without having to FTP all the games to each of the MiSTer's SD card. It saves time and SD card space. It had me thinking, would it possible to share the "saves" folder in ...

I have a Dell P2715Q and use it for 1440p for arcade games mostly. I still like using 1080p with 5x integer scale with cores that support it

Re: Dreamcast controllers into USB convertor
Here is a simple solution. Buy one of these: https://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/dreamcast_usb_adapter/index.php They are touted as making some of the best USB adapters, so it should work and have almost zero lag. So your 'should'... have you got one and used it on a MiSTer? It's not cheap so I don't want to shell out for it if I don't know it's...
