Re: Breakthrough for the ao486 core announced - Cache

Yeah, SoftMPU lets you use the UART midi function to send midi commands to either Fluidsynth or Munt (MT-32 emu) running on the Mister's ARM processor. You can also send the Midi signals over network to another computer running a synth on it. If really like this function since the Mister's ARM isn't quite capable enough to run Munt perfectly. Re: Breakthrough for the ao486 core announced - Cache

I think the reoptimization screwed with the original values. But there is no return :D We really should make a nice config.sys and autoexec section so that everyone has a guideline. The memory area has moved? Hmmm... that could explain why I cannot get Game Wizard to run I guess. Maybe I should try to see what memmaker suggests... I do not remembe...

On Monkey Island 2 I had the issue that by default the speaker was playing and the soundblaster was not detected.
On 27 everything is detected right away, awesome.

So how about we get that compatibility list getting started :D

Re: Launching specific ROM from command line

It appears that another user also thought of a similar idea to mine, see here: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/issues/190 Basically, one should be able to launch a specific rom file via command line. Currently, this is not possible. But with a trivial code change as discussed in link, this becomes possible. Can we please merge this com...

Re: 8bitdo USB adapter gets stuck and registers no input after hard reboot

There should be no loading / initialize times.
Press start so that it connects and maybe another start to register input.

2A is not really much if usb devices are connected.

What do you mean with your disk is full?
/dev/loopX are virtual devices to mount image files, these are -read only- so do not get larger or smaller than they are when created.
