Where do you currently have your arcade roms located?
I could be mistaken, but I thought the preferred folder for arcade roms was changed to /media/fat/games/mame and /media/fat/games/hbmame a year or so ago.
Might be easier to move your current roms from /media/fat/_arcade or wherever they're currently located, to those locations.

The one I linked to here (viewtopic.php?p=35555#p35555) is dated 20210528 and has mt32 support. Doesn't require two SD cards from my limited playing around with it. Got HDD and floppies loading.

Re: Any tips for capturing MiSTer in OBS? Audio out of sync
I've done a bit of a streaming and capturing through OBS and haven't experienced audio issues like you're describing. I just did a quick test with SNES capturing with analog and digital audio (with hdmi audio extractor) and didn't have any lag issues. Running i7-8700, gtx 1060 6gb. Video capture with Datapath VisionRGB-E1S. More than happy to try a...

I had the same issue when I got mine. Turns out the USB cable wasn't plugged in all the way into the mt32pi. Maybe try that?

Should be able to simply copy the rbf to where the other console cores are: /media/fat/_Console
Might need to rename the existing GB core so it doesn't interfere. Not sure. Just add ".bak" to the end of the old GB core. Or delete the old one completely if you don't think you'll go back to it.

The left speaker plugs into the port labeled "Left Speaker" that is on the back of the right speaker.

I found that from the comments of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QdTOYMLGzA
x68000.rom goes in /media/fat/bootrom/
I didn't have to do any setup other than that that I recall

To the best of my knowledge doesn't this need a secondary sd card to run? At least that's what the github is saying. It's ashame I won't be able to use my 1TB card in the primary sd but all cores are different and this is no exception, if anything watching this video makes me wanna dump up my time table for purchasing a second sd card to sample th...

Re: parts list help SFII, SFII CE, NES, SNES, SW
I may be reading your post wrong, but it sounds like you plan to use USB inputs and want to do HDMI out to a standard monitor or TV. In that case, you don't need or want to get a MiSTercade. MiSTercade is if you plan to put your MiSTer inside a jamma arcade cabinet. For your basic home use you'd want: Terasic DE10-Nano microSD card (I believe the D...

I've got mine set to static on the router side, though after a linux update for mister a few weeks ago, the MAC address changed and had to redo that. But that's the first time it's happened to me since I got mine a year or so ago.

Pressing escape to drop to DOS and then typing "tdl" won't change anything. I meant you could type "tdl" to load it back up afterward if you needed. Sorry for the confusion there. You'll need to edit some of the bat files to use dos32a, or you can run it directly from the dos prompt cd games\dukenuke\duke3d\duke3d dos32a duke3d....

At the bottom of the TDL screen it says "ESC = exit", so hit the escape key and you'll be at the command prompt.
You can type "tdl" (without quotes) to load TDL back up.

In 1996 I traded in what is now easily $15,000 of games complete in box... for around $1,000 in store credit at a local game store so I could get an N64. Worst decision I've ever made.

Is it happening in all villages?
I just tried (U.S. cartridge release and Japanese FDS) and the first village looks fine in both. If it's a village later in the game I can try on my end if you can provide a save file.

Sorry, didn't see the response to this. The source ini files are ok, afaik. Using a default from a fresh install or swapping between atrac17's customer 5x and 6x ones gives the same results. But now I'm having the issue of the script not running at all. Tried removing and regrabbing it from github, but I get the following error. /media/fat/Scripts#...

Can confirm the issue.
Just tried the mount the W98SE VHD in Win10 and got the game error message. Tried mounting it by double clicking the icon as well as attaching it through Windows Disk Management. No luck.
Other VHDs I have work fine. No idea what's causing the issue.

Do you mean you the mister won't autoconnect on power on or do you mean you can't connect at all even running cifs_mount again? Mine stopped loading cifs_mount.sh at startup. Turns out one of the linux updates last week the way init.d works was changed and there's now a separate file, /media/fat/linux/user-startup.sh, is used to run start-up script...

I love the idea for this, thanks! Only things I'd like to note: 1) After selecting and applying an ini through this, my mister will freeze when trying to load the Console directory from the core list. I found that doing a cold reboot through the main menu (press and hold) or powering off and then back on solves this. Could just be something with my...

Here is a video comparison I made showing the difference in enemy AI between Doom on a SD2SNES running on a 1-chip SNES compared to Doom running on the SNES core for MiSTer. Yes, it's running on a flash cart with an FPGA implementation of the SFX chip, but this still clearly demonstrates a difference between them. Where the fault is I don't know. h...

Re: Is it possible to have two separate network share mounts?
So you have two separate shares? If for some reason you can't combine your roms and save folder to the same network share, you could make a copy of cifs_mount.sh and .ini and set it up for the second share. cp cifs_mount.sh savemount.sh cp cifs_mount.ini savemount.ini and then in your ini, change the CIFS settings. And if you don't have an .ini alr...

Been a while since I made mine (2 players per adapter), but as far as I remember I just plugged them in, set the controller mappings per core and that was it. Each controller registers separately for mappings.
