Re: Game & Watch Core
I guess it would be a core per game, like the arcade games, it might need its own category.

Re: Adventure Vision
I'm very interested in this, as it is a very rare machine that I'll probably never see in real life.

Re: Game & Watch Core
I saw that, that is really great. There are lots of LCD handhelds and VFD tabletops that are not going to work forever.

Re: Philips CD-i (Seriously...)
I did some development for CD-i as an intern, in the early nineties. It did have some nice capabilities at the time, like being able to display two 128-color planes and a delta-yuv mode which could alter hue, saturation or brightness per pixel, that worked well for displaying photos. And of course it could display 'full motion video', mpeg 1 video,...

Re: Neo Geo Pocket
I have a NGP B/W and was planning on getting a color version one day. The clicky thumb stick is amazing and it has some really enjoyable games.

Re: Virtual Boy
Furrtek attempted this with the Virtual Tap. He ran into problems with the 3D effects of the VB being tuned for its hardware, and it did not work well on a TV several feet away. So it's technically doable, but whether or not http://furrtek.free.fr/virtualtap/ Can this work on a 3D TV ? Testing is ongoing for an Anaglyph mode. The effect might not ...

Re: Tempest and Major Havoc FPGA
Is this a recent addition? I asked for this before. How would you hook it up to a scope? I have a real Vectrex though, so I'd love to see the vector arcade games support output to scopes and vector monitors.ARCADEAGES wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 8:34 pm There is already a Vectrex core on MiSTer that I believe can output to real vector monitors.

Re: Virtual Boy
Support for passive 3D monitors/TVs (passive is quite common, I have 2 TVs and 4 monitors) is super easy. The only thing you have to do is to have the even scan-lines display the graphics for your left eye and uneven for your right eye (or vice versa, it differs between models, so it needs a menu option to switch eyes). You don't have to activate a...

Re: Gauntlet, Gauntlet II and Vindicators II
I'd love to have this core on MiSTer, I've played a lot of RoadBlasters and APB on the Lynx, the other games are great as well.
